I liked her. I don't understand why she turned into a traitor for no reason good enough for the character I thought…
The reason being she was jealous of Jug being closer than she ever was to Suho. But theres so much depth to this reason that her turning was about to happen. But the way the writers did it was so stupid. It would be a blessing at this point to have a redemption but they're gonna spend the rest of the episodes playing with Seojun now since they see no use in Soojin now.
is anyone else bothered that jugyeong didn't express any care about seojun being in the hospital too? like i know…
Hospital visits are meant to deepen the bond between two people, it shows that the person is willing to come by and give them comfort and such. All Jug did was write 'rawr' on this man's cast and dip. At this point I believe Seojun is a simp because how are you still pinning after that XD
Suho never really paid much attention to sojin for starters so i'm not sure why she would feel so neglected .…
That's why I believe the main reason why Soojin is acting this way is because Jug managed to develop a deep relationship with Suho in a matter of months. Of course she didn't mind the state they were in originally because she always saw herself as the only female that is considered close to Suho. She has been trying to approach him and hang out with him but he almost always denies her offer. Their parents being friends could be the only reason why Suho "tolerates" Soojin. Otherwise, he gives zero shits about her. And knowing her, she definitely realized that he cares more about Jug than her entire life. She clings to the "10 year friendship therefore you have to be close to me" idea but that's blinding her to see the reality of this meaningless friendship. She has every right to feel neglected. Why can Suho be giddy af with other friends but show zero effort around Soojin? She means nothing to him and her way of acting out is very cruel. But what do you expect from someone who grew up in a toxic environment and the one person that they need doesn't care about your existence?
what if... the one leaving is soo jin? i noticed the previews of upcoming eps are always so misled and couldn't…
feels out of place since soojin doesn't have a deep connection with seojun and plus her and suho are broken so theres no chance he'd want to do anything with her ever again (like he even cared about her in the past...sike) so maybe it's probably seojun or suho? Or maybe Jug is leaving to pursue her makeup career.
They butchered Soojin. That confrontation scene (with Suho) could've been more impactful but the writers are weak. It could've been Soojin telling Suho how she feels neglected and what does this friendship even mean to him. But no, they played the "WHY YOU GOTTA LIKE HER AND NOT ME!" card. Missed opportunity. That "friendship" is ruined but good for Soojin, you don't need to keep clinging to someone who lacks appreciation towards you. You need love, honey. I hope she comes into a sense of what she's doing is horrible. But she's well aware... and since Suho will never be an option, there's nothing left to lose right?
Omg yes I thought I was the only one who felt that way
Yeah Soojin deserves better, I never shipped them but I liked seeing them together. They feel better as friends but since he don't care about her, there's no point.
Soojin is becoming a bitch and I can't be mad at her. Imagine knowing someone for so long and you barely managed to make them super close to you and then all of a sudden a random girl shows up and manages to make more development than you could ever do in a matter of months. It goes to show you that time means nothing in a friendship. They can lose interest in your existence and only stick around when your the only option available. Soojin and Suho's friendship is very weak. It's always Soojin approaching Suho.
The only time Suho shows comfort is when Soojin is at her lowest and most of the time he isn't around. It felt more like toleration than a general friendship. If she was uncomfortable, he'll help her but he won't stick around. He never once expressed himself to Soojin which already shows this friendship means very minimal to him. If Soojin was gone, would he notice? The drama hasn't shown their friendship in the past but it is safe to assume that Suho never bothered to try to cling to her as a friend would usually do. Were they close in the past? There's a major contrast seen when Suho was friends with Seo Yeon. He's giddier and outgoing. Was he like that with Soojin? She reminisces about their elementary days so it's safe to assume nothing changed between them before and after Seo Yeon's death. She was overshadowed.
They rarely text each other or call each other. Whenever she tried to get close, he always keeps it short or doesn't bother engaging in conversation. The moments they had were very short but he is the only guy to show the slightest interest in her which allowed her to fall for him. But Soojin romantically liking Suho feels more of a way to claim Suho as hers. Since she has been the only girl in Suho's life for a long time. It goes to show that time doesn't make a friendship more sincere if both sides don't commit to it. Soojin needs to realize how this friendship isn't worth it. She needs someone that shows proper interest in her. Not someone who barely talks to you, comforts you for like a second and then proceeds to ghost. If this friendship is meaningful to Suho, he needs to show it. For now, it feels like toleration. I assume he's going to be more open to Soojin since hospital visits to a friend builds more connection. But honestly, it's too late. Soojin is tired. She wasted her time. She'll try keeping the friendship intact since 10 years is a long time but if you've known someone for that long and they still don't see you as one of their priorities, then whats the point? She's blinded by time and doesn't realize the friendship is pointless. It's a pity how Jug and she have gotten deeper but due to Suho's presence with Jug, its just a reminder of what she couldn't achieve. Her jealousy is valid but her foul actions are not. I want her to confront Suho and ask him what's the point anymore. All Suho sees is Jug>Soojin. Soojin deserves better. Her friendship with Jug is already wholesome but fragile. She already has a lot on her plate and their relationship dropped a bomb on her. Peace isn't an option anymore. All I can do is feel bad.
I came to this show expecting no kiss at all, and I'm satisfied with the ending. It's happy, pure, everything I wanted. I'm sad there won't be anymore Cherry but I'm grateful for all the emotions it gave me. Really changed my look on ideal relationships. Now I just want someone who can adore me as much as Kurosawa. It's been a wild ride, and I'm glad to say I was here while it aired. All the anxious waiting and wild goose chase for subs were fun. I hope to see more Cherry in the future and then we can all reunite and go crazy once again!
