It is the culture in China. Men need to have a job, house and car before marriage or else they are not considered suitable to get married and create a family. I think YH's previous girlfriend left him for this particular reason

One thing bothering me now is how they told both families completely different stories of how they meet. QS's family thinks they have been in a relationship for 2 years while YH's family thinks they only currently meet. Even worse, other people outside family think they are married for 2 years and have a 2 and half years old son🤦🏻‍♀️What a mess!
