This SERIES! Already top notch with just two episode so far. Excellent acting, directing, lighting, script!! I can go on and on. The entire scene from Shi De’s breakdown to when he wakes up... is beautifully portrayed. I felt and went through the gamut of emotions in every aspect. From concern, heartbreak, regret and determination to follow up on ones plans, revenge, to even the never ending love you can feel for someone you say or feel you should hate because they hurt you. It just further shows how complex human emotions are and can be. So much so, you feel like you’re going crazy. Taiwan, in my opinion, has always owned this particular brand of BL. South Korea is getting there too. But Taiwan has perfected it, in the manner they aren’t afraid to show the relationship between two men. No matter the gender really, people in a relationship kiss, argue, are comfortable in each other’s space (skinship). We sometimes make mistakes that we regret years later and don’t know exactly how to fix . We get vengeful towards loved ones, but not unnecessarily cruel. Yes, I wish they’d talked it out more but I’ve found in my many decades that most humans find it easier to jump to the physical rather than (or ignore) the mental as long as they can. The couch scene shows both characters struggling more mentally than physically to give in to each other’s needs. This is the age old form of communicating with each other so I get it. The hand/mouth scene was a way I think for Shi De to stop Shu Yi from asking questions he couldn’t answer or saying something more cruel, something else that could possibly break him. Hopefully we get to the crux of the matter in the next episode. Communication is necessary for any successful relationship. We must be honest with the ones we love to eliminate assumptions and possible hurt feelings. But like I said it’s a part of life. Utterly unavoidable sometimes. Emotions are already off the charts! Anyhoo, I could go on all day here. It’s a really good, complicated show for only having two episodes. Well done creative team and writer. P.S. the Chief tech officer is so precious. I’ve rewatched the episode and the subtle nuances exchanged between the lead the entire episode, the camerawork, direction, especially the scene with the eyes are utterly brilliant! There’s enough to keep it interesting. Intrigue, sweetness, bitterness, even comedic timing
Great episode! I LOVE an assertive person, who knows what wants, goes after it and makes himself clear. Sib, point blank told Gene to only be generous to him, while meeting his eyes. Love that. No pussyfooting around.
I must say if they keep this momentum this show is looking to be one of the greats! Wonderful script, great directing and editing, and most of all awesome acting from the lead characters. Up (Gene) has to be the single most authentic Thai actor in all the bls ive watched. Hes not over the top or seems to be trying too hard to make me believe in the character. He's a natural. Very subtle in his delivery, which makes it all the more believable and engaging. Can't wait to see how well this progresses with each episode. Can't believe it's only episode 2...

Don’t let it turn you from the genre. There’s still great out there. Check my watchlist and anything above 9 stars are spectacular and the above 8s are worth it in my opinion. Try Japanese (30 sai made...)and Taiwanese (History3 & 4) BLs..those countries have the best of the best to me and South Korea is fast approaching the top tier :) hope this helps
There’s a review of this show that said they were cheated because Pha’s looks should’ve compensated for what he put Wayu through. I was flabbergasted by this comment. Are we truly so shallow as a society that if someone is pretty enough or handsome enough, they can get away with anything in regards to how they treat their significant others? I really watched for Kit/Mark story even though we didn’t get much of them as a whole. TongPok’s story was getting interesting for a bit. I honestly could’ve done without Wayu/Thanu storyline. I wasn’t a fan of Thanu’s character. He came off as flaky. The writing needs work but its a solid C for effort. The story lacked a lot but it had its good moments.

Well said! This show is a great newand interesting concept for BLs. We should all have higher expectations from our BL content thantheoverdone school concept and the always lacking or overused dialogue from every other BL out there.
