I was amused and entertained. The chemestry of the main leads was great. A lot sweet and charming scenes. But, the whole romantic thingy was like 10 year old kindergarden doing. Like in so many dramas. No passion, no sexual tension. Dead fish romance. Sad. The plot was medicore. The characters, flat, in special the second ML and FL. The problem between them could have been resolved in 5 Minutes, not in 16 episodes. That was hard to watch. But my main question is the following: The FL had another costume every day. From where? She had only a small suitcase when she moved into the penthouse. And no wardrobe is seen. Also, like in so many K-Dramas. The hidden wardrobe of wonder.....
This is so true. It's a different Culture, yes, but it is not realistic what they show in movies with a modern…
@Peg; I agree. Your answer was logicaly perfect. But, I watched "So I married the Ant-Fan" and was so embarressed of the romantic and love thingy between the main leads. They had such a great chemestry, did such sweet things, but the romance in its self was like 10 years old doing. No, completely no sexual tension. Absolutly anoying. Sorry to be that rude. I don't need to see nudity, but give us a glimbse of sexual tension, please.
The love triangle ruined the drama. All k-dramas with love triangles (That i watched) are ruined for good. I'm from europe, and can, even after 200 k-Dramas not understand the culture of korea. They koreans want desperatly be like western world culture, but behave like beeing in joseon even right now. Please please, let me do a script that make sense. No, i ask my 14 year old niece to write a story. She has talent, and it would be out of question be better than this crap. 2/10 Stars 1 Star for Suzy (She is adorable) 1 for the lovely OST (I liked it)
I'm a person, who always finish a drama. Good or bad. This drama was the first one I completely didn't like. I found all, and I mean all, characters anoying in behavior and the actions they are doing. The ML don't want to marry because of not bringing his father in the family and break up? WTF. The FL want a relationship on "half speed" because she is ashamed of her ex? There are much more of such stupid actions. I was so angry many times, and wished to slap them into the face. It was also the first time I didn' like a happy ending. C'mon, they come together again? No, no!! The only thing I found interesting and good are the weather storys. 4/10 stars. (4 stars for the weather storys)
I re-watched it for the second time. OK, the story is a bit thin, but it is so entertaining. Comedy, romance and side characters are great. I'm a big Kim You Jung fan, since "Love the Moonlight" was my first k-Drama ever. I watched all of her dramas and movies. She never disapoints. I give it a 9/10
This Drama has to be selected in 3 Chapters. Chapter One Episode 1-5: Very nice, charming and good episodes. Chapter Two: Episode 5 till 11: not necessary, nothing happend to change the story, boring to death. Chapter3: The endgame, very entertaining, very good. So my recommention is to drop episode 6 to 11. You will never notice that something in the story has changed. In my opinion..btw, the FL was again written as misserable, whiny biny helpless alltime crying girl. I'll never understand, that this must happen in so many k-dramas. It is a mess. I watched over 150 K-Dramas, and want to slap the FL so often for beeing rediculous. At the beginning, FL was strong, brave and fearless. After Episode 5, she turned into the "Everytime with tears in her eys on the floor looking" stupid girl. I loved, the ML dies at the end, so she can be whiny biny for the rest of her life. That is her punishment. (Don't take it to serious) And another btw: Kim Hye Yoon! She was soo good. Her character Kye Bun Ok was evil, fraudulent, spiteful. I loved it. I saw many of her dramas, but never that good.
About that Erotic Thingy Hello Everyone. I wanted to write this a lot of times. It's about the erotic and sex thingy in K-Dramas. First of all, I rewached "The Story of Park's Marriage" about 5 times. This is because of Lee Se Young, wich I loved secretly (My wife is jelous, but she loves Park bo Gum) When I was 15, I felt in love to a girl of the Girlscholl next to my school. When we first met, we kissed. The second time we met we had sex. This is normal to human feelings all over the world. My mother (i love you) went to the parents of my girlfiend and askesd them for giving the birth control pill to my girlfiend. This was 30 years ago. In K-Dramas, you have the perception, that Korea have no residents. When the couple met, they look deep in the eys and seperate. Thats it, ok maybe a 6 year old kindergarten kiss. I watched over a 100 K-Dramas. There is only ONE good kissing scene exsisting. Between Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Soo Bin in "I'm not a Robot" in the kitchen. In every other k-Drama kissing scenes are like 6 year old kindergarten kissing This is so sad and anoying. Like in "The Story of Park's Marriage". They love eache other. They lying on the bed looking in deep in the eyes and seperate. Bullshit. In real life, the rapped the clothes from each other and have wild sex. It's going on my nerves. And my wife too. Sorry, but this is my (European) opinion.
Hmm, the first episode was a one to one copy from the korean original. I also found the ghosts not better / scarier. The fighting scene between FL nd ML was boring. Original was much better. Maybe it is developing in the coming episodes.
This drama is special.Han Ji Min (Lee Jeong In) makes me rewatch this show. Her performance and the energy of her…
I absolutly agree. Well written, well acted from everyone, beautyfull OST from Rachael Yamagata. I loved it. I rewached it 3 times. First watch, I found the behaivour of the FL anoying. But after second watch, I understood her feelings completely. The story is going smoothly form first to last episode. What is given me deep respect, is to the actor Lee Moon Sang for playing the role of a man, treating his wife for domestic violence. It's a 10+ for me.
The FL changed from cool to boring. Sad. But my main question is: Is it allowed in korean hospitals to wear killer high heels during duty? I mean, at the beginning they all wear sneakers, but after episode 5 all female actress are wearing heels. Pretty strange.
