On The Devil's Plan Oct 10, 2023
In the end, the one who is calculated and cunningly composed under pressure wins. The two finalists are both masterminds in a different way. No wonder the winner scored in the TOP 1 PERCENTILE of the national exams, besting thousands of examinees. That says alot.

Orbit and his Messiah Complex. His hypocrisy of helping what he deemed the "weaker" ones just keeps my eye rolling. And with his excuse of telling everybody that he wants to keep "everyone" from getting eliminated when in fact he wants to get rid of the people who he deemed "stronger" and "smarter" by portraying them as the topdogs and planting them as the bad guys. And no, dont tell me they leeched on him onset. During every game specially the first game, he proactively orders everyone what he thinks they should do and what he thinks is right for everyone and that's how their codependency bloomed hahaha. Well, that's how he played the game and props to him for orchestrating that with the rest of his minions. But he still deserves to be in the finals. That cunning mind shouldnt go to waste LOL.
Atleast there are people like Seokjin and Seewon who embodies an intellectual mind that doesnt easily get swayed. You can tell what sets these two apart from the others(including DongJae) is how they think out of the box.Their superior intellect just shines throughout the show. lol. These two should be in the finals.
The rest, meh. But then again, Dongjoo might win this LOLLLL.
The title of the show should have been "Orbit and his minions versus the not-so-really topdogs. hahaha

one of the worst movies ever, story is lacking, portraying SK as superior to other nationalities, Somalis and…
LOL. I mean, it wasn't THAT bad. It won the Best Film in Baeksang Awards so it is critically acclaimed. It definitely isn't "one of the worst movies" ever. Get real. LOL

I don't really get why he served in military for just 6 months.... Edit: Okay, because of his father in Vietnam…
LOL. These people discrediting War Veterans shows how ignorant they are. Thinking fighting for the country and their countrymen is a joke. Let alone his father received the National Merit, sacrificing the family over their heroic deeds. The least thing the government can do for those War Vets is some kind of concession for their families. Not all Koreans can serve the war. His father chose to, so why would we question some exception that is fully reasonable. lol

Title Call It Love
The cinematographic intention of the film was to divulge us into a slowburn loophole of melodrama and boy, they nailed it. If your genre is the over-the-top romcoms, pls dont watch this as you'll just whine and disprove the whole plot. The only intimacy you'll ever see in this series (apart from their kissing) is the eye lock moments. Lol. No dramatic skinship, their eyes are the main event.
The pink filter gradually fades as episodes unfold, if you'll notice in the last few episodes, the pink filter is almost gone as they heal themselves. This was a brilliant interpretation of the character's journey towards healing and forgiveness.
and that kiss- it was pure class, done in a tasteful and intimate way. That single lip kiss with Dong-Jin subtly pulling Woo Joo's lower lip was lowkey telling us that they are dating irl. lol. come back here when you hear their dating status in months/years time. You're welcome! lol

Lee Do Hyun's portrayal of a 35 year-old 'trapped' in a 7 year-old boy is off putting. I don't feel as if he is the 7 year-old kid that the character wants him to be.
His portrayal post-prosecution is meh. He doesnt act like a 7 year old kid apart from those childish antics. At times its so cringy & awkward. The technicalities of his "illness" is beyond the point. I'm not even saying he is mentally challenged.

Y'all should also stop being so "rigid" and offended to every practical censure given to your fave drama.

The retaining skillset that you have when you are in a state of retrograde amnesia is very justifiable if the age gap in your memory loss is not 28 years apart. Im not even talking about whenever he has flashes of memories and throwing sudden impressive lines about law. Thats definitely 👌

A 7 year old kid would rather call MinJoo, "noona" than "minjoo-ssi". Lol
I just can't wait for him to regain his memory so the awkward act couldn't compromise this wonderful drama.

Nonetheless, 8 is still a high rating for me.
Everyone and everything surrounding the Happy Farm is a joy to watch!

Hahaha why am I hopelessly rooting for Sang Gu and Na Mu. Its my 2nd time watching it already and their samcheon-kkomaengi dynamics and playful banter hits me differently, in a romantic way 🤣 I know Im weird and the age difference is off-putting. Its just me, dont judge haha. Anyway, one of the best kdramas. No cringy love story whatsoever. Pure heartfelt series.
