bravo! this is totally not my thing and i was on the edge of my bed throughout every episode lol for those saying the romance wasn't needed, i believe it was! partly to capture a wider audience and appeal to people (like me) who wouldn't have stuck around seeing how uneasy this drama made me at every passing moment lol this drama had a strong message and story for the world who currently have all eyes and ears on Korea! behind this story is a reality of history of part of what Korea faced, regardless of what you thought about this drama i hope you all can appreciate their efforts and bravery to show the world part of their brutal history and that they rose to where they are today despite all!

It was very well said, and the romance was wise and needed because they could capture and possibly keep a wider audience and make people aware and keep such stories (of the awful history) alive. Korea has the whole worlds eyes and ears rn and it felt like a message to everyone viewing.

it was the ML's time to shine! i think HJ fitted his role well as did the SJ

you do realise those fanbases are international!? and some of the craziest obsessed ones aren't korean but from places like the US and Indonesia!?

its not just Korean society, international fans also play their part! and internationally celebs get treated like objects and badly, they abuse drugs and do otherthings to cope with it all, in Korea this isn't really an option for them and those who do choose that end badly...

also wdh with the music at the end of each episode!!?? the contrast was too much and it felt too modern for this show, totally off

gosh this dama had me on edge for like 9 hours!? lol this was a bit much suspense for me but soooooo many of my fave actors and actresses are in it (omg the cast!!) i'm not sure what i made of it but i do know that i love HSH as always, this type of drama isn't for me but i can appreciate it for what it is........... now i shall go watch something nice before i go to sleep LOL

JSH is so handsome! gosh!! i didn''t expect much from this drama and i think most ppl expected to much rather then enjoy it lightly. it of course helped that the FL and ML are good looking

did you also stop watching other dramas!? because there is a couple like this and ppl see them as healing but personally i think this is frustrating lol

gosh i didn't even realise its 6eps in for the reason you stated above lol its really dull

i hardly ever say this with dramas i've picked (i'm good at knowing what i'll enjoy and what i wont bother watching) but gosh ....... this drama is pretty dull! when it has little moments the rest of the moments are lacklustre, the characters don't really have any charm imo and the main leads have no chemistry. the only thing i can say thats positive is that Baek Hyun Joo who plays somebody's Mother in EVERY drama is the least annoying in this one LOL i get so irritated that she is always playing the annoying mother in every other drama.i'll probably still watch as not much else is on and i wanna see that awful assistant get shamed but thats about it
