It ends as everyone(survivors) wake up in a hospital with no memories of the borderland. All the events take place when they received cardiac arrest which lasted a minute. *Arisu comes to know about how his father actually cared about hin *Chishiya and niragi have a bit of a conversation as they were in the same ward *Kuina finally meets her parents and they both are happy to have he back alive *Arisu and usagi meet each other in the hospital without any memory of each other (Same happens in the manga but there is a bit more in the manga where there is a 2 year time skip and arisu and usagi were dating by then)
