I don't get this bitching around HJP, I hate love triangles so always don't like second lead and doesn't matter if second lead is Prince of the Universe, Kaiser of kindness and Lord of waiting like HJP or if SL is annoying trash again like HJP because HJP is SL and SL is the usurper of screen time ... also doesn't matter who is main lead because he is main lead, even if this drama was Kim Chong Un vs. HJP ...
Ok everyone is hating on NDS character and grandma character and I think yes you should hate on them but when…
I'm "hating" Grandma and HJP because since start of the show they forced NDS to by liar, especially HJP intervene almost every time before main couple meeting and telling NDS what should he doing to support his lying schemes.
This drama goes same wrong direction as Record of Youth ... Too much focusing on second lead and love triangle ... when the Writers fill the story with unrealistic scenes during which second lead disrupts the story and we are forced to watch him with female lead or with main lead and female lead together ... like random encounter today
I would never expect to wrote this, but that kiss and his eyes during kiss and gaze upon her .... looks so real I still hope we don't get love triangle ...
episode 12 was so fun and cute, ... !! one of the best I saw in K dramas and alongside with my favorite comedy shows like Red Dwarf, Yes minister/prime minister, Friends, ...
it starting went down and anoying when we were forced to watch female lead with second lead 10x more, than with male lead ... I haven't seen the last two episodes and I probably won't see them for a long time, because it's better for me to remember the end of the 14th episode
second lead is usualy pathetic from start to end, every time is on screen with female lead he looks like human controlled by AI which has only one purpose to annoy you with his unrealistic behavior ... Best examples of the most annoying "second leads" ever (but I'm sure there are many more ) are dramas in this article or more precisely dramas whose pictures are presented in the article. 1: Wu Bo Song from "A Love So Beautiful (2017) This guy is seriously !! the embodiment !! of everything you don't want to see in the drama and if you skip his scenes you will enjoy the drama much more. 2: Run Yu / Night Immortal from "Ashes of Love (2018)" same as before but towards the end of drama he started looks like real person and using deception and violence to achieve his goal. 3: Kim Yoon Sung from "Love in the Moonlight (2016)" He can't be compared to his Chinese "comrades", because he only has 16 episodes, but believe me, if he had more time, he would share the first place :-) and only share because his end makes you laugh. Trust me it's really funny and satisfying ... 4: I don't like storytelling in the Reply series so i don't wanna judge. I saw only reply 1997.
So King of best friends, prince of kindness, kaiser of waiting, ... bullshit. True sedond lead acept his fate and if not then he started using violence, frauds, cheats, ...He definitely will not use more kindness, giving female lead more time, ...
The exe couple dragged down whole show and what we know about them at the end? Almost same as at the begining. Its shame of authors if they wanted more drama ... Instead they should focus more on rom/com because reference like "crash landing on you" was really funny ...
I don't understand the comments about racism ??? because dreads and darker skin ??? in my country are really popular techno parties, half of the participants has dreadlocks and none of them is black and yes most of them using drugs :-)
If people need to rewatch it to understand it it means it was badly written.
or people just don't pay much attention :-) ... I really like Kimi no na wa , I saw it first time in cinema, second time at home and I found few new things and then I realized, how good written it was :-)
I really like how they switch between worlds and times without "warning". Things that have happened are explained later and some things have been explained earlier, but most people will probably realize it only after rewatching :-)
It was a bit sad, dark and serious towards the end. I think they handled those moments better in previous episodes than in last two episodes. I also waited for Jun Ji Hyun cameo ... does anyone know what happened?
I still hope we don't get love triangle ...
