FYI im watching this purely because of jeon jong seo. She's one of the best and most enigmatic actress in sk. She rarely acts but her acting is almost always excellent. Her acting prowess is in the realm of han hyo joo, jeon do yeon and son ye jin. That said, ji han is a totally shitty character that makes me wonder how are they going to salvage him.
I think its pretty obvious. He pretends to care about his brother when he actually doesnt. He just wants to use do han to obtain control of the company for his own benefit. In order to achieve that, he goes as far as to seduce his soon to be sister in law (he clearly has no idea about the contract marriage yet). He doesn't give a shit whether his brother is happy or not as long as he is able to gain power and yet he pretends as though he is doing it for the sake of his brother. Hell he's even forcing the girl who likes him to marry his brother despite knowing his brother has 0 interest in the girl. How disgusting can one be ?
Jeon jong seo's acting is excellent as usual but im really starting to get fed up with this "rich bad boy turned good guy" sort of storyline. They did it with that crappy King the Land and they are doing it here again. Seriously ji han is such a piece of trash that i seriously thought he was the 2nd male lead. I really hate to say this but JJS is really carrying the show because the script is just silly tbh. It's literally a semi recycled storyline with a wedding contract added in. Quite disappointing tbh.
I waited soooo long for choi sung-eun's comeback and oh my god, I got goosebumps from her groundbreaking acting. Such an amazing performance. She definitely deserves a baeksang for this. Song Joong Ki is excellent too. Their chemistry is 1000%. This film definitely sets the bar for 2024 Korean films. It 1000% deserves a baeksamg nomination for best film.

Secondly , it was his defence that the patient died due to the anesthesiologist. He could not prove it since he has no evidence to support his defence and his key witness refused to testify. It was never proven anywhere in the series up to this point that the death was due to the anesthesiologist. That's what he's trying to prove. Stop making up nonexistent plots. His criminal case is still ongoing . He lost money because he settled the civil suit , likely due to his feeling of guilt. Feeling guilty doesnt mean he is legally guilty. It's merely his feeling as a kind hearted person.
Thirdly , it is pretty obvious from the show that the patient was not straight up murdered but died due to a set up disguised as a medical negligence. You sound really like a hater considering how you are conveniently making up nonexistent scenes and storylines.
