The character can't be 18. If he is, he won't say he can't drink beer because he is a minor.
Secondly 16 being an age of consent doesn't still make it weird, when you see a 20+ dating 16.

I totally agree with you, how did Pluem know that Kim saw them at the bar. In the flashback, Pluem had his back turned, so how did he see Kim. Kim body is just a vessel, he shouldn't have any memories from Kim.
Maybe he wants to spend 24 minutes again with Khao, rather than a long time without the love.
