I wonder if there are any Korean shows where the male character has a toxic girlfriend and breaks up with her, as Yoona does in this show. There must be some, right?
I liked the premise, the beginning was promising, I liked the family part (for once, a housewife that loves her husband, very rare for kdramas) and the action wasn't too bad.
Then it just started going sideways. The plot with the wife's past could've been interesting (it wasn't), the action was laughable, they didn't understand how guns work, or combat in general, the plot just went haywire. It's not that I didn't agree with plot choices, it's more like it stopped making any sort of sense. There were more unexplainable holes than actual plot.
And the ending, I didn't even recognize as the end. I thought there were more episodes left. Very strange.
I had to make an account just to comment on this show. For 15 episodes this was one of the best Korean shows I watched, and that's saying something. And then... I don't know who made the decision to have that terrible, terrible last episode, but they should never be allowed to work on a creative endeavor again. Maybe making paperclips is more their speed. I just can't fathom why they decided to completely ruin an otherwise great show. It's mindboggling. It's either sheer malice or complete stupidity. I don't know how it ends in the comic, but it can't possibly be worse than this.\
I feel bad for the great acting talent in the show, they were betrayed in the end. I wish whoever is responsible for the ending all the worst in their future business, and I hope I never have to set my eyes on anything they make again.
Patiently waiting for the role reversal of this show to be made. I'm sure it's getting made at some point right? Right?
Heh.

Oh btw, is there any show where a male character acts like the short haired female lawyer? Just curious.
All the worst to the makers of this atrocity.
Edit: For examples of brainwashing in action, see below.
They could've done something ballsy and interesting at the end, and instead we got this.
