I don’t understand the break up with the girlfriend but I think they wanted the ML detached, it doesn’t feel like the right time tbh, they could have made him unattached initially or had the breakup in ep 4-5, or 2 where the sole reason for it would have been his sickness.
Anyway I am curious about our ML, his family and the red bloody hand. I liked the mystery of the first week, this week felt like rose tinted glasses.
Also what made the SML change? He was sooo mean in shutting her down
I hate/love when a drama sets a new bar for me…because I judge other stories on it.
I love this show for me…it’s ruined other shows for me, I.e my 19th life. My conclusion this year is that C-drama’s are better at telling love stories and romance.
Their love was soooo real, outside of the cuteness and chemistry, this was just a story about having someone in your corner. I want to be a better partner because of our FL, what a superbly written love story.
Omg omg I am obsessed with Duan as a character! He is such a well written ML that I am falling in love 😍 and the actor is sooo phenomenal I need more of his work.
How can I wait for the ep 15! At least I get the treat of binging all his other works.
And I love our FL, I think she has to go in the books as one of my faves.
I don’t need any family angst, I just want a sweet love between our two… they worked soo hard to get here.

First 10 ep were fun… middle part is sooo draggy and boring… the couple worked best when they were in his house… when pulled apart their playing hard to get was just sooo boring.
It’s like my ideal slice of life tale…. I like this romcom version…love is sweet but also life is realistic. I wish I could binge watch it… but what a weekly treat.
Bo Ra is such a sweet person, our ML is also incredibly sweet! Like who sends 5m to someone just because they ask? What a great friend and support honestly…I love the writing of this drama so much!
In the midst of the train wreck that was Deborah’s decision, I was cackling at the so many points.
At this point I don’t feel like it’s the Ex that we are mourning anymore…. I don’t feel like she even liked him that much.
This is just her ego in the way of what could have been.Success at Relationships are so tied to her identity that this not working out …being cheated on and ideally not being’ marry-able feels like a direct attack on her.
This feels personal. I am not mad at her wallowing in the sadness or disappointment.
Breakups when you are older honestly feel like a chore. The work of the liking stage, talking stage, getting to know someone again would feel annoying.
I say all this to say, I get it. I had a plan for my life…. He told her they would get married in the year… and he took it away from her.
I am glad that our ML is also sad and hung up on his lost love too. No one gets to tell you how to love and move on… it’s something you get to decide on your own.
I also feel like the people in her life are honest but also brutal. Her Mom/Sister/best friend… these women are soooo strange in the way that they show up for our FL.
It is funny that the whole stage this happened but then again in the real world Will Smith slapped Chris rock on stage… cringy/train wreck moments happen in life. They are just terrible to watch.
Yoo In Na absolutely killing it in this drama! Ep 3 was a heartbreaker of an episode. That gaslighting, blame-shifting…
Yoo In Na has always been one of my faves, she has great range and I fell for her acting in Queen & I. She gets type cast but this role just feels different and I love that for her!
I don’t even mind if he doesn’t get any karma, he is a jerk to her… sometimes people cheat and end up having even better relationships. Life is twisted like that 😭😭
I hope for herself (character) that she heals and finds someone that accepts her, she is a bit of a pushover.
Omg I felt and cried with her on ep 3 the feelings of a breakup especially what you thought would lead to a marriage!!! Heart breaking, I could understand her rationalising the cheating, as this is an obstacle we could over come… only for it to be the tip of the iceberg for all their underlying issues.
I am enjoying this drama so much… ep 1 felt like your typical rom com… but I saw strings that it could be deeper than that, especially with hee relationship with her older sister.
How Cheoljong and kokdu give the same facial expressions for you? Cheoljong was calm and clever meanwhile kokdu…
I am not hating on KJH….. it’s the story that is the problem ultimately.
I am also an international viewer… I like her acting.
I’m just saying that FL in MR. Queen carried that show rather than KJH re watching it 3 years later. I literally just rewatched Mr. Queen on Netflix 2 nights ago. And KJH as king as pretty goofy as well.
He does goofy well, unfortunately this story formulation is too complicated and un-enjoyable.
It’s the writing and directing, I have an issue with. KJH and his assistants aren’t saving this show.
Hear me out…. I am watching Mr. Queen again, and I don’t think our ML has range….he is almost giving the same facial expressions, tone here it’s ridiculous. I can’t even blame him, because the writers really thought putting the same cast would create the same magic and the story really lacks substance. If you are going to give us a cliche tale… commit to that, if you are afterlife and reincarnation focused stick to that, if you are a murder mystery please commit.
I think having Kokdu and Surgeon be different people fundamentally doesn’t make sense… if FL is the same. Why wouldn’t he be??
Anyhoo I’m dropping this.
Kokdu’s Assistants roles worked so well in Mr. Queen because their main interact was FL of Mr. Queen not KJH
And I love ISH, her face has been her face since I got introduced to her in New Tales of a Ginseng… she is fun to watch and she has a fan in Me. So no ISH slander is appreciated.
Going to contradict myself.. the best parts of This show is when ISH commands Kokdu… sitting in this pocket of comedy would have been hilarious and fun show to watch… and that’s what they promised in the trailer.
Now we have this boring and complicated mess. Dropped at episode 6, I might binge it when it’s complete… right now I just don’t care

I don’t think ML is horrible… at acting.
The writing just doesn’t bring anything new
Do Jin Woo, is a little different to the 2 characters because he is more ‘quiet’ but we don’t have enough of him (I stopped at ep 6)
Yes I cracked up at the bones breaking and command scenes… yes I’m saying I want more of that… it’s the story ultimately
