(That's my opinion and I don't know if it's right or wrong but I'll tell u anyway, If you focused on that scene when Ken talked to that girl after the funeral, he talked to her about the idea that ordinary lovers might be inclined to turn into Nour for the sake of their loved ones too... and perhaps that idea terrified him internally that James might be inclined to do that too. In fact, as far as I know, or from Ken's perspective, that doesn't look good. As someone who is Nour, he tried to die in every possible and impossible way, literally, so maybe he doesn't want James to suffer too? And maybe he doesn't want James to be in danger any more than that, so he's trying to keep him away.
what spooked him? Was it the color change? Yes, I think he can see his true self now (true color) and perhaps because that color was similar to Tee or that person who killed his father. There're many theories in my mind but I think this is enough for now 😅🫣
