Could someone explaim the plot? Because it's not that clear
Bit late maybe, but I will explain it:
We meet three woman in the series: Cha Jin Ok, Oh Dal Sook and Nam Mi Rae. They went to school together and had a band which also included another girl (I forgot her name, sorry). For some reason (that we will learn about later on in the series), this girl isn’t in their lives anymore. They even made their own song (someone has it as her ringtone). This is pretty important information, that they had a band together because it will come back in the story.
Cha Jin Ok, married young and became pregnant very quickly; she has two children: a daughter Kim So-Young (who’s a nurse) and a son, Kim Dae-Young (he is studying to become a doctor, but he hates it). Her husband (Kim Bok-Man) is very strict and very cheap when it comes to his and his wifes spendings. Cha Jin Ok becomes feed up with this and wants things to change, especially when her son announces that he doesn’t want to become a doctor and the dad wants to kick him out.
Oh Dal Sook: She seems to be the only one who is still happily married to Tak Heo-Se. She has twin girls (Tak Il-Ran and Tak Yi-Ran) . She still loves to sing, even though their dream felt through (We will learn later on in the series why and how it all went wrong). She is a stay at home mom while her husband works to sell houses and other properties. One of her girls (Take Il-Ran) got her passion for singing and wants to do nothing more than to become famous and break through as a popstar. Oh Dal Sook is against this and doesn’t want her to become too focussed on her dreams. Her other daughter Tak Yi-Ran is very smart and wants to get in a good school in order to become a doctor. Take Heo-Se is supporting his daughter and lets her go to an addition, which doesn’t end up as everyone expected…
Nam Mi Rae: She is a well-known actress. She is married to Kang Joon-Ho, who’s a vet and they have a son, who’s still in high school: Kang Dong-Hyun. She’s very messy at home and doesn’t clean up at all. Her husband hates this about her. When she finds out that her husband is seeing someone else she files for divorce, but then he finds out that Nam Mi Rae has also cheated on him in the past. They fight a lot, which upsets Kang Dong-Hyun a lot. When they really are divorced Kang Joon-Ho lets the woman he cheated on, live with him and his son. She’s the direct opposite of Nam Mi Rae and she gets very jealous very easily. (Honestly it’s scary sometimes what she does when she gets jealous!) Because Nam Mi Rae has been drinking a lot in her free time, her voice isn’t as beautiful it ones was when she sings. Because of that her director tells her she needs to change something or she will lose her job. When she finally accepts to see a voice-coach, things aren’t going as she expect them to go.
I hope this helps a bit, I tried to not spoiler too many things for you, but it’s hard because there are a few surprise elements in it that make it really worth it to watch (in my opinion at least). And I don’t think it would be as much fun to watch if you already know what is going to happen.
The three grandma's kept me watching till the end. Don't get me wrong, the beginning was very good and promising but halfway though it became harder to watch.
I'm giving this a 7, because at episode 17 it started to get a bit too long. (It seemed like the story didn't go any further till episode 21)...
I also wasn't very happy about the ending. No that it was bad, I just would've liked to see how everyone's story ended with the finale and that's something we didn't see.
Ok this drama shouldn't compare with any of the top dramas for a few reasons. A lot of the characters back story…
I found, when watching that they both show us earlier that they grow to like each other. For example when she found out that he has been stung so many times by the bees. He did that to protect her. I'm not sure about you, but I wouldn't do that, especially not if that was someone I couldn't care less about and maybe he does say that it is to avoid a law suit but I don't believe that. She started to be less angry/irritated by him already. Ever since that has happened she softens around him.
About the other guy, to be honest, I would think, if I was the main lead, that I would think that he was just a good colleague/friend, I mean, we know he likes her because we can see his point of view, but has he ever clearly told her/showed her that he liked her more as friends? (I genuine do not remember that happening, except for when they when to eat with the other (later) couple. But the way he said it, I would think it was a joke, because he basically laughed it off, so if I was the lead I would think that he wasn't serious about it. Other than that I can't think of anything which would suggest that he was feelings for her in a more than friends way. Sorry if it did, I'm already watching something else and I am already pretty far into the other storyline). Maybe when he gave her the keychain, but at that point it was already too late for him and he knew that too.
This is just the way I saw it, if you disagree that's fine. I personally really liked it and if someone else didn't enjoy it as much that's fine too. We all enjoy different things, but I personally liked that it was slow romance and I didn't feel very rushed to me, because I was looking at it differently maybe.
Personally I really Loved this drama. It has comedy and romance in it and maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea that it's a slow romance, I found that it really suited the story more than a "I love you as soon as I see you" romance. (Those can be fun too), but I liked that it was different for this story. You can see that they slowly grow to like each other more.
This was a drama I couldn't wait to see the new episodes off from the beginning to the end. I personally recommend it, if you also like drama's like Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and What's wrong with secretary Kim? (Because I personally liked these too). -It's fine if you don't agree with me, we all have different tastes but please don't hate me for giving my personal opinion-.
I found this drama a reall pain to watch all the way to the end. Some episodes where so boring and slow going... There were maybe 3 episodes that I liked... Not worth it.
I completed it too. It's really a great story, just give it a change once you get through the first five episodes it gets really good! I really loved this one and it has become one of my favourite drama's. (At the end I was sad that it "only" had 100 episodes), but it ended really well in my eyes.
I thought I was the only one crazy enough to watch it over and over again and ended up crying every time :( but…
I have a feeling that everytime Met remembers something from the past, becomes more human... At least I hope that's what it is. I really hope that Met becomes Human again
Many of us have invested a lot of time enjoying this series, and now that we've (probably) seen the last of LBC…
I agree so much with what you wrote down! I couldn't have said it better.
-Spoiler- I am so angry that "Kengkla/Techno" became a couple like that! After what happened!
Also: I don't get how "Tum/Tar" become a couple either. The older brother basically tried to rape him too... How can he be so forgiving like that? Ulgh. Also made me angry.
Honestly, this really gave me enough reasons to only give this series an 8. I wanted to give it an higher score because the first 13 episodes are great, but this really made me sick to my stomach.
But I'm so disappointed that those two "couples" got an Happy Ever After but the couple I stayed for (Can/Tin), didn't. The meanest part was that they where heading in such a romantic way! Real let down...
Okay, It's only Wednesday and I'm already having withdrawals. :x Can someone recomment me a good BL series to keep patience till Saturday/Sunday? Thank you ^^

I also found it weird that the person who played Pond kept his eyes open when kissing... Who does that?
