Joy Of Life is rebirth. it's even included in the drama. Fan Xian had some sort of neurotic disease and died choking on his tongue which fall to his throat. Anyways watch carefully the first part of the first episode.

well his personality is there intended, there's no excuses for ooc-ing and changing the plot. He's reborn and the drama shows me no hints of his rebirth at all. they say rebirth is banned but Joy of Life's Fan Xian's rebirth is included in the drama
