but they could've chosen song tingyu.. I like her better, she's more exciting then Ling YuShi. The author spends very little time on her in the novel in the middle and only shows up sometimes towards the end bc Qin Lie's too busy with his own matter.

here's the chapter when Song TingYu showed up (yes I know it's paid chapter (it used to be free when I read it))

In the novel it was soooo different.Like I said, her and Xie JingQuan seems like they swap souls or something in the drama. and it's not a love triangle, Qin Lie's a harem king. Also in the novel they made yuShi look like the FL but she's just a sort white moonlight kinda role. Qin Lie still cares about her and loves her but it's like he put her in the back of his mind like an emperor with a harem of 3000.

if it was his "old" personality, he might've still loyal to YuShi but then he got some of his memories and personality back and his views towards this kinda thing became loose. Cuz before he "lost his memories" Qin Lie give up on himself and become the famous playboy of central continent.

And Song Tingyu was more likeable in the novel. In the novel, Song TingYu used some sort of ?love? concept (not sure cant remember too well) so they were both in a trance like they went through 3 lives of love or something and that's how they got started. Than Qin Lie awaken some of his old personality and got some "memories" back and the first thing he did (after fighting someone) was to flirt with Song TingYu. Later on, they developed more feelings and when they both got poisoned, they just thought they were gonna die and so..... they did the dirty.

Later on when Qin Lie became a powerhouse, no one knew Qin lie had a fiancé name Ling YuShi but a lover name Song TingYu. Like if he's the master then Song TingYu was basically the madam. (Also Tang SiQi also got in the harem. Qin lie warned her he's fickled and has a messy love life and Tang SiQi was like, it's fine it's fine, if Song TingYu can I can too or something)

hey, i'm saying maybe, just maybe, is there a possiblity that might actually go the harem route?? Is that possible? Someone said the adaptation for Martial Ancestor(?) was harem like actually so I'm thinking maybe this too?

Dont get me wrong, I'm a girl and I'm a very one person only devotion kinda love (like SiFeng) but I've loooonng come to accept that Qin Lie is a huge playboy and rather casual about having dirty with different girls...... not to mention I didn't read the novel for the romance bc it'd be a hopeless case

I just want this to get more interesting... more drama, yeah know?

also, my first impression of Song TingYu is very ooc. How do I put it? In the novel Song TingYu's attitude towards Qin lie when they first met was kinda.... (to put it in a harsh/bad way) kinda bitchy, like a seductress. In the drama she reminds me of Xie JingQuan more. it's like their personality is flipped. If I haven't got it wrong (bc that's what the drama made me think) the red one is Song TingYu and the white one is Xie JingQuan

i gotta say this, anyone else think QiuYing looks soooo awkward and feeling out of place when XiangKong was all worry worry about MiYa?

there's this one time YiBo commented on the part where XiangKong found out Miya is in the hospital. He said that if he were to be in that situation, he would've ask if anyone's by her side or if there's anyone to care for her (I mean she obviously have a very bossy manager). There's no need for him to go personally even if the other party is his childhood friend/self declared sister. Not run off on his date with his gf to see his ex. what does that look like?

Unreasonable? The guy's her boyfriend and he runs off to see her ex!! And i dont see why he cant get off him. if MiYa can choose career over love than XiangKong can choose a new girl over her. I know it was XiangKong's idea, but like u said, "drama mind." So in drama mind she could choose not to agree.

Well cheer up. he got better treatment in the drama than in the novel. (Well even more better treatment in the dongman too) In the novel Qin Lie basically one hit ko him if I remember correctly (he got decapitated thats why)

of course I'll watch it. This is ONLY 2 time I didn't watch it bc of the actor (which I do all the time)
