u don't understand, dubbing is just a Chinese trend and there's reasons why dubbing exist and in China the voice acting industry is already a highly respected and popular circle so all the viewers want to listen to the "ideal voice" let's be honest now, sometime u hear a voice of a character in an anime or game u might think it's pleasant to hear.
If anyone seems Ma TianYu's 2019 drama "River Flows Towards You" you'll understand why (since they use their own voice) sometimes we rlly need dubbing not to mention China have so many accents. Literally, listening to the lead talk in the drama makes u wish "River Flows Towards You" use dubbing. The female lead literally sounds like she's mumbling the entire time.
And to erase any misunderstandings, dubbing is the actors' own choice. Sometimes u might be a great actor but voice acting is a whole another thing. Just watch the show "The Sound" it's a show about voice acting.
