I don't like Suzy's acting but LeeSeungGi is a done deal for me. Guess I shall give this a go
It's not her acting, her role was terribly written. I watched Start Up after this and she was great. My other problem with this series is the shifting between the silly and serious when the basic premise of the show was heartbreaking.
Every time is see ratings that are so vastly different from users of this website, I know I’m going to like the drama! So this goes on my list to watch.
I really wanna try watching this again cuz some of y'all (like most of y'all lol) really loved it but I'mma be…
Comedy is like that, we all have different tastes. Most of it is working for me though, as least the scenes with the 4 main leads plus the cousin Jo Yoo Jung.
Celebs are just people like the rest of us. Some are good human beings, some aren't, but all of us are imperfect.
Agreed. From the very little I know, SK celebs have it pretty tough meaning the expectation of squeaky clean lives. It reminds me of the Hollywood studio system circa the 40s-50s.
Thank u for your article. I understand ur points. I did not see true beauty, but have seen the other two.
Ultimately, in it’s okay to not be okay, the brothers both shackled each other. I think Sang Tae being seen as a burden by Gang Tae came from how mixed up he was emotionally; guilt, trauma, loss, etc. I sure loved the ending.
I totally get what u mean about itaewon class. It is best to call them unique or quirky, not assign a mental health disorder.
I have to put aside my perspective when I watch shows produced in another country. It is not my culture, I can’t judge + the depiction may not b realistic at all.
