I think he was at lose of word,he should have prepared more words before talking to yuan,if I am not wrong than this is happening in 2010's timeline, people back then didn't really had the understanding of what it was,but both qian and sang pang was being kinda supportive.Sang pang said he could love everything else other than qian,for some reason I think sang pang just don't want their life's to become harder,plus qian has trauma.Maybe it's not the right way but sang is trying to protect this family in his own way.
