For the 1st point ep 6 explained a little,and in the novel the explanation came to the latter part
Did you watch dark,there a man had to kill himself for his younger self to travel to the past and have his son,it's like this jom had to travel to the past for certain event to happen,in last ep jom told khun yai to keep some land that was a part of it,khun yai's family and many other surrvived in ww2 for those land,and if jom never time travelled than yai's 1st incernation commander yai would have married and had kids but that's not what happened maybe khun yai wouldn't even be born so jom had to travel,that house could a window to other dimention to fix nature's mistake(i read to many sci fiction),now the novel said it was fate as they were meant to be together.
