It always doesn't have to show violence to show a gay person's life,some actually have a decent life,and real life taste is coming from the interaction between those friends,them doing homeworks, spending most of their time In school,asian countries are like this,plus it gives of a youth drama feel, majority of Chinese youth drama is straight but good,but as they are not bl,many of us don't watch it,but this has bl.
Some of us just wants to watch a slow and peaceful bl for a change,some of us just want to watch a bl,where the entire series isn't about their romance only.
I sometimes watch straight dramas too,but I watch only those straight dramas where romance is not an important plot.Finding a bl where they are actually subtle, it's nice

Exactly,not everything has to be about romance, untamed is really famous and god tier show,even if it wasn't censored huge portioned of it is not romance but people loved it,I loved it.
Sometimes when everything is not about romance,and their small interactions give you butterflies,you on they did a good job

As much as I love this series,some people just don't understand the magic of slow burns,they are either teenagers or bl's with no story but filled with nc scene has corrupted their mind.
But this series is really refreshing,it makes me feel light,some people just don't get it,they have different taste.
