They finished filming in like September 2020, and there's still no official news of the air date😭 Plus, with…
Technically Shimei now counts as the female love interest, but because the series is so hyped idk if this change alone is enough to pass censorship.

I'd like to know where they draw the line between BL and a show with 2 male leads. How much must be cut for a show to get accepted? Everything?! This so sickening.😭

What do we think about Shi Mei being a girl? No spoilers please
Honestly, I don't care all that much since Shimei means younger martial sister anyway. But that doesn't mean I approve of changing a character's gender in the adaption. Making Yang Lianting Ren Woxing's illegitimate daughter in the 2018 version of SPW still pissses me off.

When will this air, this torture is killing me...... rumors have been made abt a father son relationship between…
"Call me daddy!" Even if they do so, which I don't believe, it's not going to stop anyone... Although I don't support censorship, after 2+ years I just want the drama to come out.

I've been rewatching Smiling Proud Wanderer and every time they mention the Sword Sect Alliance of the Five Mountains, I think back to the Five Lakes Alliance. Honestly, they are both a bunch of infighting hypocrites who blame the Sun Moon Holy Cult / Ghost Valley for of their crimes.
