a rec from me would be hana kimi, its super weird, cliched, and could be pretty unrealistic at times but my fav thing about it isnt the romance but the friendship and the stupid things they did
and those kind of heartwarming friendship are usually only found in jdramas ppl should try that
the thing about her is that shes actually a good and decent actress its just that all the roles shes picked up has been so basic and 2 dimensional, hopefully she can get a role of being more of a badass rather than just a weakling all the time

this drama was really good but left me hanging with a lot of open questions, i feel like the writer had so much more in store to make the plot more developed and concluded well but there probably wasnt enough time and episodes to make more :(( what a shame

the funny thing is the drama you have mentioned are the newer ones which i consider to have i guess better heroines, try checking the more "classic" or older ones oh wow the girls were dumber than ever examples are playful kiss, bof, and many more haha
i finally finished the drama after putting it on hold for 3 years lol idk why, and rewatched some episodes to get the feel back, and one feel that turns out to stay is not my love for the story turns out it was my love for moon jae shin aka geol oh haha. its like all my feelings for this character came back and i am just swooning again and hurting again because he will never get the girl man
and it made me realize the reason i might have stopped watching is because main couple got together and my heart couldnt take seeing geol oh hurting haha
i would give this movie a 10 tbh, but its just my thing to never give a perfect, cause every movie still have flaws even the smallest lol so ill just give it 9.5

id say during childhood i saw some episodes of meteor garden dubbed in my country's local channel but then my first official asian drama had to be hana yori dango, i loved it so much and it totally got me into the world of dramas. cant believe its almost been 5 years since i watched it.
I honestly did not like the ending at all, so it kind of ruined it for me, I hated the ending in Rooftop Prince…
well i guess thats true that kind of ending is getting overused, a nice ending would be like queen inhyun's man. But then again the purpose of the drama itself was to remind koreans of how important hangul is and also how studying is important and can be fun since i think since the drama was supported by the ministry of science or something.
but idk i might be wrong haha
looks wise he is very good looking but acting wise hmm not so sure yet, but im sure he could improve more, looking forward to the day when he can prove that hes not just another pretty face haha
