Hello! I love K-dramas and it is very hard to pick only one, however, I have a particularly special love for Faith (AKA The Good Doctor) because it was the first K-Drama I watched and it is thanks to it that I am now a K-addict!
I'm am writing this review whilst the drama isn't finished yet. I'm doing so because I think some people might be a bit confused because of the current shade some are giving.
I am a big fan of this drama, however i do understand what people mean when they say it is overrated, but I don't think people are actually explaining themselves very well. I do think it might be a bit overrated but I believe it can only be so if you don't know what you are watching.
This drama is about the bond between the leads and each character is a unique personality. I think each is very, very interesting. The plot itself is built around the growth of the characters, mainly (i would say) that of Kang Mo Yeon.
The 10 episodes have been thrilling if you keep in mind that you are watching a romantic melo. And that the story itself is yet developing, but by the end of the day it will still be a story about the romance (and bromace) of the characters.
Another thing i would like to mention is Kang Mo Yeon. She has had mixed reactions. I think she is quite a realistic character for she does act on "self defense" when she stubbornly tries to not get herself further involved with Shi Jin which is a VERY understandable thing since he, as a soldier, has a very threatening job and furthermore when he himself tends to push the dangerous to the max. As a woman myself, I think I would react seemingly to her because I would not like to have my heart forever in my hands when thinking my most beloved person, being as reckless as Si Jin is, can die in a blink of an eye. So to me Kang Mo Yeon is quite nice as a character.
