Id suggest doing what I did, watch the series while reading the novel simultaneously, because the series alone would be confusing jumps around too much, doesn't explain much either. Has lots of plot holes by it self. Btw is not bromance, even though it's censored because China, is pretty obvious that they're more than friends, especially in the last chapter, one of them explicitly states his love for the other. Watch the uncut version and you'll notice right away that this is not a bromance
