I think this is all so on brand for charliebabe though like last season it was the same lack of communication issue. and they alluded to it being a problem this season too when alanjeff were fighting. when Jeff asked charlie for advice, and all he said was we don't really do a lot of talking when we are making up... he didn't seem too unhappy with the arrangement either?? and then he finds out about babe keeping secrets and hiding things even if it's for his own good, gets upset, then turns around and does it right back!!! it really gives they are crazy in love and would do anything to protect the other. we already know about charlies self sacrificing complex and his need to protect everyone even at his own risk and happiness. what we know now is that babe has that same instinct but for Charlie. but I wish they'd realize that they are better off fighting together and not trying to shut the other out as a means of protection!! like it took all of y'all to defeat tony the first time, that's what we need to happen again!!
