omg preach!! totally my opinion as well! I really didn't understand all the accusations of LS being toxic because I also think that it's just human to be unsure of your own feelings and it's ok to protect someone you care about by rejecting them. Of course it wasn't ideal how he acted but never have I thought once that he was toxic or had bad intentions.

as much as I love to see DJ and DY together, it IS kind of awkward..

I can kind of understand, why people dropped this drama but for me.. it was one of my first drama nearly 10 years ago and I just had the sudden urge to watch it again,, and yeah it is cringey af but it is very nostalgic for the people who started their drama adventure in the early 2010s :)

The last 15 minutes were absolutely worth the slow burn throughout this drama. The acting, cinematography and music always pulled at my heartstrings and really touched me and I think, even though the drama obviously has its weak points, this is what makes a drama worth watching.

such an underrated drama! perfect balance between romance and suspense! loved the cast and their acting!

this drama is going to give me serious whiplash lol. One moment I can't handle the cuteness and the new, fresh feeling of being in love for the first time, the next we are thrown into the harsh reality that is adulthood. I can't wait to see what happened and how they both ended up in this heartbreaking situation. The cast, music and cinematography in this drama is outstanding!

Do I need to watch Season 1 to understand Season 2? I was skeptical to watch Season 1 because of the comments so I'm not sure whether I should watch S2 without having seen S1..

They did such an amazing job with this drama! It made me feel the same things like HYD and had a nostalgic nuance even though it was a complete new story. I had my doubts in the beginning but the plot and especially the cast and music won me over! Big big recommendation to all HYD fans!!

It might be, but at least it's not thrown onto us all the time and doesn't look forced. I think it is a decent amount and exactly the right balance between mystery and romance. If it only was mystery I think I already would have gone insane because the suspense is killing me xD

I guess if you were looking for a dramatic drama with the whole shebang, I think this drama will bore you. But if you are looking for a realistic love story with talented actors, beautiful lyrical content, amazing cinematography and a beautiful OST, then this is it :)

omg, your comment could have been my thoughts! I went through the exact same things and even watched the dramas in the same order you mentioned :D But yes, I dropped this drama about three times, I just can't get into it :/

Yamazaki Kento has outdone himself! I'm glad he could show that he cannot only act in shoujo movies! Splendid performance and really moving drama!
