I legitimately can’t figure out if I hated or loved this show. I’m so confused. It was pure suffering for the whole second half. And yet… I watched the whole thing in a day. Maybe I loved it? I think I loved it. Totally bonkers evil ML, but the characters made sense most of the time (which—let’s be honest—isn’t easily achieved with these compressed dramas). The acting was convincing, the scenes were pretty, and the nonsensical plot devices were not too distracting. Nothing has topped A Familiar Stranger for me, yet, but this was pretty good. I would willingly suffer through a similar drama again. Ok, time to watch some fluff.
Omg, I can’t with this super duper important dinosaur figurine. Why is a random assistant carrying around this little T. Rex? If it’s so important, why is it not kept by the props department? Where did it even come from? So. Many. Questions.
I have blocked user Wynwyn555, did that person still there & saying everyone you are po** addicted 😭😭🤣
Wow, I just did a quick scroll. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so interested in talking about porn in a TV show discussion forum. That user is obsessed with it LOL. I’m going to go ahead and block them, too. Not interested in that repetitive childish nonsense.
I like the show so far. It’s giving GOT vibes, and the time period is interesting.
Wow. The mom is unbearably horrible and annoying. She “loves” her family by harming them over and over again. Totally brainless, selfish, greedy, and rude. Every time she wants something “for her daughter” what she really means is that she wants access to it through her daughter. Any time she learns someone near her has something, she jumps straight to acting like it partially belongs to her.
The FL, brother, friend, ML, and secretary are enjoyable to watch, though. Just FF through the many many many minutes of the mom, and the story still makes sense.
Wooow that disguise makeup is horrid. It looks like they just smeared a few coats of greasy self tanner all over them and said “yep looks good.” It’s patchy… and the darker and lighter areas didn’t make sense for a fisherman’s tan.
Can I watch this without watching season 1? I know it's a different fl
Maybe, but it might not make total sense if you don’t watch season 1. There is an event that “separates” the two seasons, but most of season 2 assumes you’ve seen season 1. Almost all of the characters are the same. I don’t remember there being very many explanations or flashbacks to give context.
I got to know about the drama only today. The only part I watched doing fast forward is the scene of second leads.…
Same! I’m hitting the skip 10-sec button constantly on the scenes with ML+FL alone. I’d rather watch the crazy bird and the icy goth dude argue. Suspiciously “helpful” fate guy is fun, too. I think the rapid romance development in the first few episodes was way too fast and not convincing. They’re telling me a 1000+ year old immortal has never learned anything about human relationships, even in passing? To the point where he doesn’t know how marriage works? AND he’s not clever enough to figure it out quickly? Please.
I've honestly never seen such a well-chosen cast.I think it's the first time I've seen such a convincing actor…
The way he responds to chaotic craziness with mild interest and walks soooo slowly is both funny and ancient god appropriate. I’m loving it. The most passion he shows is for popsicles and trolling Shen Li. And maybe that one time he was fascinated by waving that spear around.
On a less serious note: that video is def in the cloud, so she needs to get him to sign into his account and delete that copy, too. Lol.
