I'm not trying to infantilize him. I recognise that his name is attached to his projects unless he comes forward to disown them.
I'm just saying I don't know what he thinks (either way), but I know (as it is a fact) that no matter what he wants he has a contract to follow (that maybe is aligned with his wishes or working against them), and you seems to forget this whith your assumptions.
In the end, I don't know his background (does he has pesonal ties to his agency? does he has enough resources to break his contract? does he get unknown perks?), his contract or his plans regarding the future, so I won't assume anything.
For my part, the less I know about (BL or otherwise) actors as real people, the happier I am. I don't consume any fanservice or behind-the-scenes content. I stick to TV shows and movies.
