She does have screen time, and our leads dont break up there are misunderstandings but no one tries to separate them. his mom loves her the dad is complicated but he treats her as good as he can better toward the end
I love this actress she is so cute. I am not 'ageyo' sorta girl but I remember once someone had told me that some people are naturally born like that and the FL is what he was talking about. I have also seen irl childhood sweetheart crash and burn but I absolutely believe i the lead were real ppl they would truly reach the end they did in this drama. I loved that they grew as ppl together and became more mature. Everything around them changed including them but their trust in each other and adoration for each remains the same. There were so many scenes that can and do lead to jealousy and misunderstandings but they are resolved normally through communication and internal work. like you getting jealous is not your girl's problem and the ML gets it. FL is a gem and should be cherished and ML knows it too! loved the other characters too!!

Our FL s echnically the 1st wife/concubine and no she doesnt tell hher to stop cause genuinly no takes the sister seriusly and treat her like a teenager in their house. Yuan Ying is a pincess and a capable business women so she whips the house into shape and shows no interest towards the ML. I was scared too but you will like it
i love the FL she is such a girl's girl and so adorable i get why the ML and everyone close to her loves her so much. She is just a 'nice person'. the female friendships are SUPERB!! the other couples are cute and interesting and I have never wanted two characters to be happy as much as these two leads. To be honest I wanted to watch this drama simply based on one viral Tictok video. It wasn't a particularly raunchy scene or anything super intensely acted. it was a hug. In the snow, when she ran to him and he engulfed her in his cape. It wasn't a unique scene but the love uffff THE LOVE. for a moment i felt so happy for them esp cause ML looked so sad and lost in his own mind 2 sec before but then she called his name and proceeded to run to him for a hug. The ML eunuch (our ML background info desk) does talk abt how out of everyone in that palace one FL is the only person that is his. He adores her! and he makes it soooooo obvious. I am tired of emotionally constipated men who don't even try to show u affection and you just have to guess. Anyway, I love this drama everyone should give it a try!!

its not a different person. think abt it in this manner in real life we are all three dimentional. we are different with our friends than we are with our lover and completely different with our sibling. sang yan was/is a great loving annoying older brother and a loyal and kind friend. in hidden love that's what he came off as. this is important because HL is from the prespetive of Zhizhi and DJU who are his sis and friend. and Victor did a great job of potraying that. he wasnt just a brat and annoying bro you could very clearly see while he was rough he loved the ppl around him and deals with them appropriately. He was also extremly responsible. I am guessing you read the book and declairing Victor 'just not it' isnt right since he is new and we dont know what he is capable of as an actor. We also have to take into account that the man we met in HL didnt really go away in FF. He is very much the same with his sister, parents and friends BUT with his women he is a completly different person and exactly what she needs. He is gentle kind loving and supportive. He makes her smile and continues to make her life wonderful which is what she deserves. The reason why i personally feel Victor was capable of playing such a 3 dimentional charater is because we have already seen it on HL. He wasnt just Zhizhi loud older brother. He was a realistic older bro he was capable of more than one thing. I also feel like due to some of his scenes from the book being cut in HL he wasnt more nuenced. honestly i havent watched this perticular actor as i found the 2 dramas i know him frm quite boring but i am hoping he does justice as i love Sang yan. I was also hoping Victor would get a chance and this is would be a true sequel. I love the author tho they have quickly become my fav chinese writer (b4 it was ding mo) as i found out she wrote 'when i fly towards you' too she writes truely beautiful FL that i just want to be friends with lol.
