The king seems to be able to talk a good game but when it comes down to it .. he can't bring himself to sleep with that brat. Also no kid from a union with her would be a good person. Look who the mother would be and look how the rest of the family are.
At least at kid with Lady Park would be raised with grace and kindness and with her as its mother would learn how to treat the people that serve them. A kid with Lady C would be a tyrant in the making. Also being with Lady C would bring out the worst in the king. Besides... I think that the king's days would be numbered if that were to happen.
