He got further along in that scene in the book. He was all over Babe doing all kinds of stuff and was about to completely undress him by taking his pants off and that's when Charlie came busting in. Way didn't make Charlie go to sleep either in the book. Charlie laid his ass out on the floor. Also Way wasn't saying all that crap about Tony and Babe going home either and how he was doing all that so that Tony would leave them alone. He never said any of that in the book either. He was just babbling on about how he was in love with Babe and he wanted a family and crap with him. 🤦🏼♀️

If they wanted to give some focus to the side characters they should've made this a 16 ep show. There are already important things I'm worried that they won't be able to fit into the remaining eps or if they do it will be rushed. Then there's a couple of special chapters at the end of the book that I know they won't be able to fit in the show.
Because its too slow and all the hurt scenes I wanna watch will come after another week of waiting.

I agree with that and this is just my opinion and nothing against North and Sonic but I think they would've been better off just focusing on of course Babe/Charlie since they are the show but also Alan/Jeff. They wasted a lot of screen time with useless stuff when they could've made sure they had other stuff from the book into the show.
