Some dramas are just like that. Some people love it some dont. If after 9 episodes you don't love it that is ok. I loved and it was mainly because I found it fresh, fun and loved the cast. I loved the relationship between Mudeok and Jang Uk. Their loyalty towards one another even though it was a forced kind of loyalty. Also Mudeok with the rest of the characters was hilarious to me. Especially the crown prince. She always bloated his ego but she never lied about choosing Jang Uk over him. I thought her relationships with the others really was cute.

Just finished and I absolutely loved it. I am so glad I didn’t watch it live cause if I had to wait for season 2 I would be so annoyed. This has become one of my favorites.

For me thats part of why I enjoyed it. People feared him and made him feel like the big bad wolf but the more the drama went on the more he realized that wasn't who he really was.
