There were a couple of people lurking behind her at the intersection. I think it's some of the private investigators who saw the danger coming and pulled her to safety. The epilogue explains that they think there is risk, and in the epilogue you can see people in the backgrounds of the different German hospital scenes lurking the same as at the intersection.

This drama is so beautifully created. KSH and KJW are an incredible acting team, matching each other in looks and acting skill that create magical chemistry. They are mesmerizing together on the screen whether their characters are in love or conflicts

This has drama has kept its promise through the episodes except for episode 11. Previews of the next look like it might get back on track.
