Ok so IMO, this show would’ve been v good as a STAND ALONE. When I think of “School” I think of something more complex, exciting and in a well executed series. No doubt, the first 1-2 episodes were pretty interesting but later on it just felt too off track. Knowing that it was a part of “SCHOOL” I naturally had high expectations but was disappointed :( Ps: this is MY OPINION guys.
Wasn’t a fan of her acting in School 2021 at all but I’m highly impressed by her in AOUAD. I’m glad she got such opposite roles as it shines her acting skills well!
As much as I despised Na Yeon, I did feel bad for her knowing that she dies while trying to bring food and drinks for the others. I mean sooner or later it was bound for her to die. But I think that no matter how good or understanding she’d be, it was sort of her fate that she had to end up dying alone in a way to pay for her selfish sins. If the writers wanted, they could have her die in front of the others as she was about to give them the snacks but it was because of her nature and attitude due to which they showed her die tragically alone, helpless and more importantly when she was about to actually help someone for once.
I liked how there was so much focus on the details of every character. Be it Na yeon, Gwi Nam, the pregnant student, Nam ra or those 2 archery girls. The reason why the entire casts’ characters shined well is because the small details about them were written well. Appreciate the attention on ALL the characters and not just the leads.
Although I wasn’t a big fan of On Jo, I couldn’t help but feel miserable for her. Everyone she loved and cherished, left her one after one, in front of her. Like give her a break fr-
Wow. This pair has my heart. The best chemistry fr I mean seriously?! For the 3rd time?! Never been happier. At this point I wonder how they aren’t in love smh😭
Just got done rewatching. I’ve watched over 400 Asian dramas but nothing compares to this and ALSB as my all time fav comfort dramas! I have so many friends who watch dramas but I hate talking to them about this and and ALSB cause I prefer keeping my source of comfort to myself. Love it so so so much.
No matter how many dramas I watch, ALSB and Wait, my youth will always be my all time comfort dramas. I’ve watched both for about 50 times and every time I watch it, feels as if I’m watching it for the first time.
