I loved it. The lead couple had amazing chemistry! There were moments my heart skipped a beat because the scene was just soooo perfect :) Lots of kisses - and finally a lead girl with a reasonable wardrobe (meaning she actually wears the same clothes with different combos more than just once. hello reality!)
I wish they would make a follow up drama, because I don't want to let Shan Shan and Feng Teng go
This drama is like a mellow and soothing indie pop song. It's full of conversations and reflections about love…
I really like your description - mellow and soothing. This drama is for those moments when you need something gentle, something that let's you calm down when you are stressed out by the real world. It might not be a drama for everday, but when you want to take a break and breath "Love Marriage" is a good drama to watch!
Woah this family is unbelievable!! To let your loved one, your brother, your own child suffer (again!) through so much heartache and grieve just to prove your point.....And the sister needs to grow up and stop with her "good intentions", it never ends well.
With a different second half this would have been a great lakorn - like this it's just okay.
But his revenge was great :)
I really have a problem with that bullying and rape thing, it's a strange love story, more like an abuser-doormat…
Yes, I think the rape scene was unnecessary. They simply could have slept together willingly a little earlier in the lakorn and she got prego from that..... :(
The women in this lakorn have no dignity at all. The men treat them like a piece of sh* and they are the ones saying sorry. If you can push the feminist in you in a deep deep corner of your mind, you'll probably enjoy the lakorn.
I don't get why everyone seems to love this lakorn so much. I found it mostly boring and the ending is just *rolleyes*…
Well with the first 15 eps of Pin Anong you saw everything there is to the plot. Of course there are great scenes in the later episodes, but you wouldn't really miss out storywise if you just skipped them and maybe watched the last two :)
Soooo true! Weir has seriously a lot of skinship in his lakorns (not that I'd mind that *thihi*) But it kind of fits his bad boy image in Thailand.
Oh man, Wong Wien Hua Jai......I still can't get over that one, it stuck with me for days. I had to pause while watching and go for a run because I got sooo angry at the characters. Never happened before^^ I guess my review said it all....She should have ran as far aways as humanly possible :)
I skipped college because I'm not feeling so well (and no, it's not because I wanted to watch dramas, no no no, I'd never ever do that, honestly! I'm about to die from a horrible disease^^), so I just finished "Legend of Mulan". Maybe I continue with "Scarlet Heart". It was the first C-drama I started. I made it to ep 20? The historicals are fantastic, but incredibly long.....

I took a break from kdramas for the same reasons.
Haha, actually it's funny. I totally enjoyed Pin Anong, but I saw your comment on the side - you hated it :) You are right that selfsacrificing characters are an overused plot device and Pin Anong is a little difficult in that aspect (in general, why make it a 22 ep drama if you could have finished it in 14 ep too). But it had the uniquness many dramas lack and it made me notice Weir. I watched a lakorn with him as main character before but he didn't stick with me at all. I had to double check if it was the same actor :) In Pin Anong he is simply great.
Aff is not my favourite either, but she keeps getting paired up with Aum. Therefor I'll have to tolerate her :)
I'm still in the middle of Rising Sun 1. You are right it's not your typical lakorn, but it's great and it has Mario in it <3
At the moment I'm testing myself in Chinese waters with Legend of Mulan. I finished the first half and so far it's really good. It's only my second Chinese drama and hopefully the first I'll finish :)

Maybe i have seen too many lakorns. It just gets kind of repetitive :) If the leads had a little more chemistry or there was just SOMETHING that made it unique and put it above other lakorns......but like this, it isn't bad but it isn't good either :)
Haha it's so true. Especially No 5 and 6. I noticed that when I get agitated over something I start to tap my fist on my heart Korean style. The looks it receives are priceless :)
And the bowing....I have make a concious effort NOT to bow all the time. As you said, we don't do that in my country.
let's all work together to make mdl even better :)
but I already did it^^
here you go :)

It has 16 episodes and the re-run has 33 episodes.
