Understandable, I spent years dealing with such people friends and family alike. I could see clearly that I was being used and they needed me only when they could benefit from me. The hardest decision of my life was letting go of my best friend whom I had been with for 13 years it's been 7 months now without her, hasn't been easy but I feel like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders. Making yourself a priority is important, choosing yourself does not make you selfish. Love yourself enough to let go of what does not bring you peace.
