Alright everyone, I'm a certified romance hater, but if Tae-poong and Mi-seon don't at least stay together and not some dumb "I can't like you because of blah blah, I don't like you, stay away from me etc" I definitely won't be happy lol The confession was perfect and I love how he's the persistent type, not one who backs down from a challenge and actively pursues, hopefully nothing will get in the way of them both.
Loved that episode and once again, Song Joong is the best supporting cast member we have here, love all his scenes. Playing tetris was hysterical.
Much better than the Theatrical. It's not clever to leave the audience with more questions than answers in an unfulfilling way. If you filmed these important scenes, you might as well put them into the actual show.
Can't find where to watch the Director's Cut so I just looked up scene by scene that was changed and - No wonder the Theatrical Cut felt so empty. Sometimes it's not always clever or smart leaving out important details to be "special" or "unique" like they think they're being. Some movies try too hard that they fail to see the bigger picture. Without the extra scenes, this movie becomes a bit plotless. I'd much rather see the final product that was intended with the extra added scenes that makes this worthwhile. I rated it 7.5 but with the extended version it would've easily become an 8.
Honestly, based on the synopsis this looks incredibly dull. Nothing about it grabs me, and it definitely doesnโt…
They do sometimes sit and talk but it's always important and never feels too boring or drama-y to me, and I have the attention span of a squirrel. I find the scenes to be quite quick enough and never dull. In the first episode alone there's hyperactive dancing and singing lol
It gets more business-y but not in a bad way, it's not sitting around crunching numbers 24/7 if that's the possible impression it's giving off. They go around to lots of different places and do active business. The episodes are pretty fast paced that I wish each one was longer.
Oh and all the characters are just so charming, you can't help but be glued to the screen.
Iโm hesitant to watch it because of the female lead, even though the edits are trending. And itโs not just…
Never seen her in anything before, but she's doing absolutely wonderful if you ask me. Really embodying the character and I really like how it's acted. Writers usually make FL's insufferable, but she's actually a breath of fresh air and her acting talent really shines along with it. Honestly after this show, I want to see more with her in them because of how much I'm impressed.
Totally, I seriously don't get the criticisms, some which I think are unwarranted and hilarious tbh, the characters…
That's what I did, rated it 10 because of how much I'm enjoying it and to help out the numbers. I usually don't rate before something is finished, but this is just too strange how the numbers keep going down, even when there isn't a new episode available.
Rating's went down again, I suppose this will be one of those underrated masterpieces that I'll spread everywhere for awareness because holy crap, what a comment section of splitting hairs and not simply just enjoying the ride lol
i like romance dramas ..and here romance is too good ..but i didnt watch this drama for romance..because there…
it's not supposed to be solely a romcom, that's why it's not marketed as one. It's about business and slice of life, it's not dragging, that's just the genre it is and was targeted to be. Rating it 1 star is diabolical.
Why so many review bombers? Is there somebody behind the scenes being paid off to crap on this show that I'm unaware of? lol
Mmm I think it's a spoiler, especially since most people have been waiting for this for a long time, just to have it spoiled when it actually happened. It's best to mark important moments as spoilers.
Why oh why is everyone complaining about Pyo and Son lol what was their screen time that episode? 5-8 minutes? that's all. Funny reading the complaints though because I'm on the total opposite end of the spectrum. Although I am the kind of person to listen to a song on repeat for an hour, because when I like something, I like it. Same with this show.
In all honesty, I really do feel like this show needs to be binged so it doesn't feel repetitive if that's the impression it's giving off. 2 per week, sure it'll feel as if the same things keep happening, but remember the shoes? it feels like that happened eons ago. The story is progressing. They now have the Helmets, new building for business and an illusive promissory note ripped from the entry log. Dust is kicking up.
They stayed in Thailand for about 2 and a half episodes, but it feels like more because we've been waiting a week to get here. If you binged it, it would've felt like a blink of an eye I guarantee it.
If this ends well, I'm 100% going to rewatch. All in one chunk, everything released in all it's glory.
Just have to get this off my chest - I must say after hearing how much this was similar to Itaewon Class, I watched it for the first time and finished it recently. I definitely see the similarities, but it was so so boring and every episode felt like filler. Main charactes were so bland, like boiled chicken. I'd much prefer the downfalls and frequent issues/conflict that this has rather than it being plotless. How IC gets 8.4 and this gets 8.1 and review bombed is beyond me.
This, in my personal opinion, is miles ahead of Itaewon Class. I almost died trying to make it to the end. Thankfully I made it out the other side alive.
I don't trust people who say this is boring ๐ Two great episodes once again! It's seriously the most enjoyable drama this year by far, and even in general out of most of the things I've watched. I've never been able to find something with great relationships and wonderful dynamics between everyone as this does. So unique and has a great vibe to it. Still enjoying every character and plot arc. Can't wait till next week.
Ma Jin apologized just so everyone knows, no need to get so worked up about his character lol he did a 180, and without a huge fight with shouting and the works. Again, they handled the situation with maturity and not a childish argument. That's what I appreciate about this show.
I do notice most of the Male characters kind of act more like Women than they probably would in real life and should in the show, but 90% of kdramas are written by Women, so there's not much you can do about it and they sometimes don't know how to write them convincingly. Lee Jun-ho is doing wonderful though in his portrayal and it's helping out where the script or directing may be lacking.
Call me crazy, but I like how they're focusing on the relations and people more than just doing business. I'd be bored if it was only crunching numbers 24/7. I agree the Thailand arc. needs to end now, I like how everything looks back home and them all having to stay together at her house - lots of funny and heartfelt moments there, like with Beom. They'll get back on track though, probably by the end of next episode.
Seeing some mixed opinions on whether there's too much romance or not enough lol When romance becomes the main focus, Tae-poong will stop having character growth as I see some people saying is starting to happen, so just remember that if you're only wanting this to be a romcom. If it becomes that, that's all he'll be to the show instead of the boss we need.
oh my gosh you guys are so rotted with the typical cliche kdrama stuff it genuinely pisses me off why are you…
For real. The literal genre tag is "Life" which means it's a business slice of life, ofc they're going to be say, sitting around drinking soju and talking about what's going on in their life and business. It's IN the genre, people just think something that's not constantly action based is boring and can't sit for a couple minutes listening to characters talk. I find every piece of dialogue important and it's for them to have development. In something that's a life drama, seemingly "boring" or "filler" dialogue, isn't filler... It's what the show's about and watching these people's journey. I see the same complaint about Misaeng if people find it boring when it's the literal genre, like... use your brain lol

Song joong and his love - the computer lol
