Maybe, but tbh doesn't that make it a bit more realistic? Work is a big part of our lives and some of us don't…
Yeah I definitely cited that, I get it but there's a fine line between realistic vs work propaganda in societies that overwork their people, leading them to have work be their only personality, giving them no time to be themselves, which isn't fun to watch. A good case and point of work focused shows - Misaeng. It's all about work on purpose and that's it's goal, but it's to show the realistic aspects of the Korean work atmosphere, it's in no way a romance. Something like this though shouldn't be about people just working, you want to see deep personal relations too, you can't build on the closeness of two people if they never do things to get them close. You have no reason to like this other person because you don't technically know them. I'm just skipping through the bland work portions because nothing they're saying is of any deep substance. Focusing only on work 9 times out of 10 leads to shallow and lazy plots, not realism.

Now I'm not assuming because I haven't made it extremely far yet, they might try to build up their bond other than solely doing work with each other, but really, if people are only working there's absolutely zero reason why these people would like each other. I had the same problem with Shine On Me recently. As Jack would put it in Drama terms - "All work and no play makes a dull show."

This is falling victim to me where most Cdramas tend to be, all they've done for a good chunk of episodes... is work. I don't know if their stuff is government funded or what, but most Cdramas feel like work propaganda. I want to see characters at work and their daily lives there, sure, but we need a balance. Go do something else after the work day is complete or while you're at home have hobbies besides just more and more work. I feel like I'm learning barely anything about these people in such a long time, their personalities revolve around their jobs. I understand if that's the norm or realistic for China, but I'm watching fiction to a certain degree and don't want to watch the same monotonous plot for who knows how long.

I tried, I really tried to broaden my horizons, but I think I'm going to stick to kdramas. I do enjoy how some Cdramas are low-key and slow, they have good Slice Of Life atmospheres at times - I tried Go Ahead but only made it 28 or so episodes and couldn't continue, but I did like the pace. I'm just not into Historical dramas that they're famous for and their modern shows are all work based/propaganda.

This has got some of the most hyperactive editing lol I'm ADHD so I can mostly keep up, but sometimes it's funny how someone will be walking into a room one second, then the frame cuts and they're already inside. Editor drank 10 cups of coffee working on this!

To all Haters , comment below with Timestamp which you think is AI generated, don't just randomly claim it's AI
While I understand and totally agree with keeping the baby safe, CGI can be used, not AI. Two totally different things, one takes away someone's job, the other gives somebody a job and a way to make ends meet. AI even copies and steals from other art out there, it's better to use CGI that a human actually worked on and not AI, which accomplishes keeping the baby safe as well.

One of my acquaintances told me they completely ruined this with the use of AI. Is that true? Is it ruined?
The intro is straight up bad AI... I think it's taking over Kdramas now.

Why does this say 14 episodes and Viki says 15? Did MDL just make a mistake, or is there a bonus on Viki?
I saw someone say the 15th episode is only a recap episode when it was airing because it went on a two week break! So not any extra content.

Woah, I would've thought the ML actor was at least in his 40's. I'm used to watching Korean shows, lately I'm realizing many Chinese Actors are hard to guess they're age because they already look fully mature at like 20. I was seriously stunned to see he's only 29.

I can't tell if that is due to the Chinese remake premiere. Personally I lowered my rating after rewatching it…
I agree! It's sad though that I feel like there's nothing anyone can do about it but themselves as a country to break the generational curse that's going on. More people need to actively try to change their bad behaviors and realize how toxic it can be so less people become victims. They're in so deep though, it's gonna take a miracle for anything to change.

Nobody ever said you have to like babies/children, but calling them monsters and everything else in between is what's the problem. I'm pretty sure you're aware that treating kids like they're nothing can lead to some pretty abusive situations - https://www.reddit.com/r/MadeMeCry/comments/1nio6xi/little_boy_explains_how_he_actually_feels/

I'd be glad if a Korean drama could show how to be responsible adults and to treat little ones like they're real human beings too and have a healthy family relationship dynamic other than what's the norm for SK, and show these people stepping up. I don't know what they're going for, but I hope that's what will be seen. More than likely will get into many silly scuffles, what usually happens with kids, but hopefully nothing abusive.

Since it's in what you stated, you can definitely refrain from commenting again in this comment thread discussion. I don't expect nor welcome a reply back.

Dream killers? How insensitive, I'm appalled. They're people too and you were once one, they're not even intentionally…
Too bad you were once a dream killer, my condolences.

Dream killers? How insensitive, I'm appalled. They're people too and you were once one, they're not even intentionally doing anything, just existing. Someone doesn't want a baby, don't have one, but doesn't mean the baby is a piece of garbage. Inhumane statement.

The problem with this show is the episode length. I think a while back I got to episode 10, but even then that took me a while to get there. It's not as gripping as something like Vincenzo or Alchemy of Souls to where I would welcome long episodes. I can watch non action based long dramas too like Misaeng, but for me this one was too slow and not enough plot per case, although I do appreciate the way it's done and the value of it! Might try to pick it back up and finish it someday.

Did you watch Made in Korea? That was an amazing drama on Disney+
No I haven't! I saw it has a second season coming up. My problem with Disney+/Hulu dramas, they always get 2nd parts that take forever to come out or have open endings every time. Not saying I dislike all of them or ones with good endings, but they've always felt lackluster for this reason. I'd rather watch a fully finished drama, because anything could go downhill later on. Maybe I'll wait till part 2 is out first! Made that mistake with A Shop For Killers lol
