This drama should've had 24 episodes at most, and honestly, I'm being generous here.
What a waste of potential for a great character (Shiyi) and the actor, who never gets to be the male lead and when he finally gets it, the female lead spends almost every single episode obsessed with the second male lead.

I really hope Zhao Lusi and Liu Yu Ning's characters end up together with a happy ending.
They really stole the show in The Long Ballad for me.

I chose Wei Ying, but I know that Lan Zhan comes together. They're a couple set after all lol

6. I couldn't watch many dramas from 2023, but I loved most of the ones I did watch. Also, it was the year which I completed most dramas since I started watching dramas in my life. 120 dramas in total.
7. More good BL dramas from Thailand and less romance-turned-into-bromance from South Korea. Also, fewer episodes from Chinese dramas - more than 30 is too many, so it gets draggy most of the time.

Looking forward to seeing more from Park Jihoon.

I've watched a few of bullying-revenge dramas already, but I'm gonna watch The King of Pigs soon, since people recommend it so much lol

That's kinda disappointing. I really loved the bully-revenge elements. And the bromance between Shi Eun and Soo Ho was top-notch on the kdrama :/
