He wasnt stupid until the drowning. It was mentioned that it has damaged his brain and some motor functions, as we saw it. Hence the mistakes. He was driven only by hurt and hate.

I still stand by the opinion that parents and grandpa were the villains. Their greed and thirst for power made everyone’s life miserable.

Real BSE was evil, but the way he was treated made him even worse. In the end, his biggest punishment was rejection by his mother and being locked up again.

He wasn’t the main villain though. It was the parents and grandpa.
Someone pointed out, that when he was cared for by fisherman, he sustained himself from killing people. Which means he was curable if they did it right from the early childhood.
He was also deceived. I felt sorry for him in the end.

I think drama surrounding the family secrets and murders overshadowed romance, so when It resurfaced in final episode, many didn’t understand. But I plan to watch again and concentrate on them more. After already rewatching finale again alone helped me understand it more.

It’s almost exactly what I wrote above.

I usually come here only when I finish the drama and sometimes for explanation or clarification- or other POV.
But it’s getting harder to find such things in flow of **** that is happening.
Desired exchange of opinions is almost impossible.
And I thought it was bad 2 and 1 year ago with finales of Worst of Evil and then Marry my husband and Deaths’s Game. (Dramas I rated very highly and they also plummeted without any logic.)
However what is happening now here is insanity. 🥺

I do enjoy good arguments from time to time- it’s refreshing to see different perspective… but this is out of hands.

It’s not even “activism”… it’s just troll farms at work with whatever task they’re assigned to.
What is the purpose I have no idea. Especially with Kdramas- they will certainly not change production, screenwriting process etc because of these people.
I do ratings for myself mostly, but I remember the times it had any value, and people rated honestly 🙄

Did you saw IMDB “ratings”. Soon, the rating system will be annulled because there is no value in it anymore 😭

I never follow ratings. I just watch what I want, based on premise and actors.
I loved W. Though some plots were repetitive hence not needed. But it made sense and I love the leads together ☺️

Since I binged last 4 episodes last night, the finale, after those rollercoaster episodes left me bittersweet upset…
Hence I tried watching it today again with clear head… much better! Loved it 😍

Except that one thing that other couple owes me 🤔🤫

I understood why he did it first time. Just don’t understand the execution. She was suffering needlessly. He could have reminded her in letter, called her… whatever. But not disappear 🤷🏻‍♀️ I forgot about it when he said it and I’m sure she did as well.

Fair point. My argument is only to defect negative comments which make it seem it was to insert the conflict only for the show, which os incorrect. It was already part of original story. Thats all. The way which it was executed is another matter.
It is still great watch.

Viewing popularity says otherwise… It’s great show. Amazing atmosphere, acting, script.
Last episode was miss, but it was still in webtoon. That is all I will say. Will not continue with your illogical conversation any further.
