Money, money, money.Okay, maybe not *just* about the money, but also that Jira couldn't let go of his feelings…
And/or realistic. I think many of us have been in a relationship like that or know someone who has, like we shouldn't be and we know that but.... I think Jira was right to question whether or not they would work out in the future.
How did Pheem not win that fight with the first punch??
Could be! But I got burnt with Memoir of Rati so learned a lesson with that and avoided all the pilots that were released at the end of last year. I know which pairings I like/love so have their series on my PTW list, and if I hear good buzz about other series, I'll check them out.
How did Pheem not win that fight with the first punch??
True, but I decided to stop watching pilots when I finally realized that the story can (usually does?) change by the time the final series comes out, and then I'm disappointed because I have expectations from the pilot. 😂 I'd rather just watch the first ep of the series and drop it if I don't care for it.
How did Pheem not win that fight with the first punch??
Ah, I didn't watch the pilot, so good to know! I guess I'll wait until it's released and then see. 😁 I guess I could watch Dew's MuTeLuv story in the meantime since that would be short.
just a question, what about it made you remember it was a gmmtv series? the fact that they ended up together?…
That's fair, though not sure I'd agree with boring, but that depends on the series. I wrote in another comment here that I did appreciate that GMM did make a series that had a different tone and themes compared to their typical series (series which I enjoy!), but I think to expect them to go so far as to not have a pairing end up together is unrealistic. I'm not sure if that's insulting or not (I'm about as mature as you're going to find on MDL, ha ha) but if I know that going into a GMM series, at least I won't have other expectations. There are other series from other companies/countries that I can watch if I want to have the chance of being surprised by an ending.
How did Pheem not win that fight with the first punch??
I feel you! I think I need to add a timestamp for that scene to my notes about that ep! It's too bad, in a way, that he'll be in a bromance pairing and not a BL pairing but I may have to check out their series anyway.
Edited to add that the rage room scene is in ep7 at 16 minutes.

You're welcome! But yeah, it took me a few GMMTV series to realize that yes, they will always have happy endings where the pairings end up together so I should never expect anything else. Like no matter how unlikely it seems or no matter how many roadblocks are thrown up, they always get past them.
How did Pheem not win that fight with the first punch??
Oh, no need to remind me! That was the best scene in the entire series, and yes, I would be totally fine with a series that only had Dew in a rage room. 🥵🥵🥵
thankyou burnout syndrome for introducing Dew jirawat to me
Yes! I think that and the actual paintings were the best things about this series. I mean, I appreciate that GMM tried to make something a bit different, but thought overall it could have been better.
Sometimes its okay to have an open ending/unhappy ending. It's okay to normalise characters seeking help, trying…
I definitely thought of codependency with Koh and Jira. Koh can't sleep without Jira, Jira can't paint without Koh. Hard to say if it's love or not but certainly doesn't seem very healthy, but yes, probably more realistic than a ton of other relationships we've seen.
Koh agreed to buy that last painting for a huge price so...yeah, I guess so? Jira has realized that he needs money…
Ha, well, I should have said also that Jira just couldn't let go of his attraction to Koh so yeah, he seems to have just accepted what Koh did and is willing to overlook the past to be with the person who inspires his paintings.
Edited to add that the rage room scene is in ep7 at 16 minutes.
