I was not expecting the bits of humor, like when Tyme went to fuss with his hair and shirt before going to see Great, or the exchange in the skate park (which...wtf?? Who just plops themselves down on one of the ramp things at a skate park that's in the middle of being used?), and though I enjoyed them, I wasn't sure they fit 100%, you know?
So am I an idiot or in the beginning of the episode it was Thonkla that smashed ....his brother's face?
It seems like the general consensus here is that yes, that was Tonkla but that the scene is from the future, so I'm speculating that he's taking revenge on his brother's murderer.
I didn't catch the Vegas fever while KP was airing because i was too caught up with the gorgeous Apo. But here…
Totally understand! Apo is just like hands down one of the most handsome and hot human beings on the planet, but yeah, for me Bible is one of those people who *shouldn't* be gorgeous but *is*.
But was that woman his cousin?? He referred to the man as "uncle," but I wasn't sure if that was just an honorific or if it means it's his father's brother. He called the man "your father" to the woman, so that would make them first cousins.
Taking revenge for that person killing his brother?
Mimicat said in another spoiler comment that the opening scenes are future scenes, and I think that fits with the opening scene of ep1 as well, so maybe not so much two timelines as flash forwards.
I am pretty sure the ending scene shows Tyme getting info from the gambling ring spy, and if you watched the trailer we know Tyme has a gun at some point, so I think he's some kind of undercover agent? I'm not sure.
So Tonkla killed somebody (his own brother?). That's a great way to start an episode. I knew that something didn't…
I don't think Tonkla killed his own brother so maybe the beginning was showing us something in the future which is Tonkla killing the person who killed his brother?
Who's in the body bag?!?!?! And I had a good laugh because of Tyme, he was not smooth π€£
I know!! I'd assumed - like we were supposed to - that it was Title, meaning that Great had hit him harder than he'd meant to, but now it means that another man was killed right where Great and Title had been?
Though speaking of ick, wtf were they drinking??? That was either the cloudiest wine EVER or...idk?!
