I think some fans didn't like how some of the story lines were resolved. I personally wasn't a huge fan of where one of the plots went but I wouldn't have said it "ruined" the show. For me, the series started off SO well and portrayed what I still think is one of the most realistic situations I've seen in BLs (as in the interactions and behavior of the characters) so wasn't keen when I thought things went sideways a bit. But that's just my opinion!

I'd have to rewatch to refresh my memory, but I think I know which scene you mean, and no, I don't think that was real in the way I assume you mean it. I believe everything was simulated.

No, I hear you! I had wondered since the announcement and first trailer how they'd swing it, having him crushing on a girl and then on a boy, and while I get that it needed to happen, I do agree that it was quicker than I'd expected and a bit less clear than I'd have liked as well. I almost wish that most BLs were more comfortable with making characters bisexual, because that would have been interesting here.
