Drama sucks and writers are stupid because you don't like the genre? Right.

My thoughts exactly when I heard about the cast! I was going to skip this until I saw that Yoon Hyun Min and Kim Jae Wook were also in. First trailer looked promising though, Kim Hyun Joong at least looks manlier than before.

I'm pretty sure Chief Hong lied about never loving him at the end, to make the King vulnerable and in the other hand to make the King to kill him too. In the first part of the movie and he didn't even look at the Queen before they had their first night together but he was always looking at the King. He even cried when the King was wounded. Sure this was very disturbed relationship from the beginning but I'm pretty sure he did like him. My conclusion about the ending was that he was both sorry and angry and he wanted to end it.

Oh yes, very likely. :) Goong is one of my favourite dramas and I'm happy this is very similar to it. PMAI feels like Goong 2013 having adult main characters instead of high school kids and PM instead of king.

I keep thinking about Goong while watching this. It's scary how much these two different looking drama have in common!

Ships aside, side characters were the only reason I finished this drama. I was disappointed that they decided to go for same(ish) story and drag it unnecessarily long, while they could've just come up with completely new one with new twists. I also think they could've used Reply 1997 cameos a bit better. I was hoping they would've explained who was driving that red car in Reply 1997 but I guess they wanted to leave it as mystery. Anyway, I'm disappointed how Reply 1994 turned out. I think it had more potential than it delivered.

I watched this when it was airing and it was amazing until the writer changed. After that everything went downhill. It's real pity because I among many others were anxiously wating for new episodes but after the writer changed many of us dropped this. You could clearly see the change even in the chemistry between the main leads, it wasn't the same anymore.

Amen. I'm all for second leads getting the girl but in this case they didn't break up because he was a jerk, they broke up because of a misunderstanding, which was caused By Seung Hee's so called friend.

I don't understand how it's confusing? The same story is only told from more than one point of view.

Couldn't have said it better than these reviews. Great cast, great start but totally wasted potential. Most disapointing drama of 2013.

He's been stuck on same character since YAB. He's taking roles that promote his image rather than his acting skills.

Loved this drama to bits. Cried my eyes red while watching the last ep.

Second lead syndrome strikes again...

Defiently worth watching if you want to watch something different and meaningful. Instead of crime & mystery I think this drama is rather slice of life with psychological topics. Mystery cases were just way to introduce the topics to discuss about them.
