Is this really that good of a show or just die hard C-Drama fans? I plan to get into Chinese media soon and want to start with the highest rated stuff. How is the romance and fighting?
Also this has 54 episodes but the air dates if Sep 15th to Oct 15th...is this true? Did they really air 54 episodes 45min each in just a month? Do Chinese TV stations usually do this? SK does 2 a week usually for 16ep series lasting around 2 months but 54 in 30 days..amazing. USA is like 1 a week with TONS of breaks.
This was surprisingly good. I know it had good ratings since its at an 8.3/10 but lets be honest people tend to throw out 10's for everything so I really didnt know what to expect other than cheesy GCI and non realistic convincing set pieces but I was really surprised.
Park Hye Soo had to drop out because it conflicted with her schedule :(A lot of people don't seem to like the…
One would think these studios and directors and such would confirm their actors schedules before filming and then having to pull this stuff like actor changes. Very sad, will still watch though!
What happened to Yoo Eun Jae not being played by Park Hye Soo?
I havent seen either season but I will soon. Just noticed the actor change. I see this a lot in American shows and its really weird and awkward to keep watching when characters dont come back or when its different people playing the role.
Was as good as I was expecting based off its popularity and comments. I liked it but last episode seemed too rushed, we got like 2 minutes at the end to wrap up everything not related to the plot like relationships and such but even then a lot of never explained or explored. They could have done with 1 more episode to nicely wrap it all up.
Oh well. Overrated but still good.
7.5/10
LMAO at people dropping this over the confederate flag you see for half a second.
Still happening? Movie? Full length drama? Short web series? We need more Kdrama dealing with sci-fi fantasy elements outside of body switching time travel romances.
Idk as well, but my theory is that they are korean/know how to speak and already watched it somehow.
Possible but still you cant really rate something based on the first episode. If this were a movie, it would be like rating it based off the first 5 minutes.
Why do people rate this when subs are not even out or when the whole drama hasnt aired yet? I notice this a lot. The statistics already show a 10 star rating and a 1 stat rating.
This has been exclusively licensed by Netflix. They will be the ones subbing it, and no other legal source will…
So does Netflix wait until they are internally done subbing each episode then release them all at once subbed, or they release it all at once unsubbed and you just wait for each episode to get subs? Better than nothing. I wonder if they do the same with all the anime they are licensing as well.

How slow is Netflix with subbing? I always assumed if they bothered to get something, it would be immediately subbed before they made it available. I havent used Netflix though but have been thinking about it.
Has an 8.7 rating and good reviews but most comments are of people saying they hate it and to drop it.
Why? Some other drama pages have this going on too.
So not sure if I really should avoid it or ignore and go watch it considering I had to drop two popular dramas in the past that had good ratings and reviews but a lot of hate in the comments.
It has a complicated and controversial ending. The writer wanted a sad ending but the director wanted a happy…
Why would it matter what a director even wants? Isnt his job to just direct scenes according to the script? Even though I prefer happy endings...if its between the original plan and some change by someone with no hand in the plot creation...I want the original to be kept.

This really was pretty damn good.
