Chansol x Dahae couple and interactions I loved watching, they click so well it was nice to see. Im still not sure what went on between them so early to bond so quickly, the producers didnt show us everything I am sure. As long as Dahae matures a bit about her wealth and Chansol doesnt let it bother him too much, they very well could be the next K-Variety show couple to get married like the couple from Love Catcher S2.
Seulbi x Bareum, I dont see her sticking around for long to be honest.
I think Hanu recognized Hanui and thats why he was so adamant about declining her. Hes also a player and very inconsiderate particularly after his first date with Daon. I really felt bad for her there. Then he bounces around each woman, who for w/e reason fall for him lmao. Glad hes alone.
I didnt like Bareum abandoning his interest in Hanui because he thought she was a liar when she said she hadnt dated in years but had last kissed a year ago with an ex. For being a senior researcher at Samsung hes not too bright to have considered she may be trying to save some face or fit in get exposed so early or some other very reasonable and likely scenario (which ended up being true anyway) Other than that hes a great guy.
Dahae bringing out her purse after Hanuis reveal was pretty shitty, Ill give her the benefit of the doubt and say she wanted to lighten the mood but boy was it poorly timed lol. She accepted Chansols criticism though which was nice. Shes open to learning. Shes a good person despite living a very privileged easy going life which I think tends to make people very... ungrateful and leave it at that lol. Of all the people I like her lively personality the best.
Daon really bothered me when she completely disregarded Taeyang when it was them sitting with Hanu and Hanui I think. After their great date and nice talk earlier she asks Hanu to wake her with no regard for Taeyangs feelings, even if ultimately it wasnt a big deal, from his perspective it should have been obvious. When he tried to bring it up she ignored him to show off some random pictures lmao. But the moron Taeyang when finally asked about his mood didnt mention that, just said he wanted to be center of attention lol what. And when they kind of rekindled and went on their dates she kept talking about Hanu repeatedly lmao damn girl keep your mouth shut.
Kind of glad the 3 of them ended with nothing.
Hangyeol sabotaged himself by lying about his age to such a degree. Women who were interested in him ignored him for that reason, he could have been very popular but it was too late. I wonder how the couples would have developed if he didnt lie about that part and got his date with Daon from the start and they kept clicking.
I hate the producers for these kind of shows. They also bring in people late. The new people always struggle to fit in and adapt to the dynamics that have already been established and the little cliques that formed. Haneul and Seulbi missed many chances because of this, and Taeyang the most being dead last. It serves to purpose. I really hate this. When will a show just be normal and include everyone so they all get a fair shot?
Last note, most of the secrets are very lame. Oh no I will inherit a farm..ahhh im a rich girl what a drag,... and so on. Give me a break lol. Hanui actually had something. I bet she regrets coming to the show despite her comments at the end I cant imagine her truly feeling that way. I wish her the best.
S2 needs to do better. This format with the secrets and everything has great potential.
BF complained about a lot of the gun sequences and accuracy lol but other than that we enjoyed this one a lot. The ending was a bit open ended so I hope we get a Season/Part 3.
Hyogi is such a whiny bitch lmao. Omg I feel so bad for yoon suel she deserved a lot better. Taewan is also kind of a baby but I feel a bit for him at least, hye yeon just seemed two faced usually and I was always confused why everyone liked her so much. I think there is a lot more to the text message at the end from the other "close male friend" of hers that set taewon off that we didnt see. Choi Hee Hyun really needs to get over the fact that jung hoon is going to the military. Every male does it, you knew it was coming. What a dumb thing to let strain the relationship, but at least they got over it, hope they are doing well. Ji Yu is my favorite, even if what she did to Do Hyung years ago was suuuper messed up. Do Hyung is kind of an idiot but means well enough I think. Glad they worked things out.
A lot to say about this season. Well it was pretty good. I still hate that they bring in people in the middle and near the end of the show though. It really screws them over leaving them no time to get to know anyone. I understand you need replacements in case people leave but sut even when that doesnt happen they still do it to mix things up. It doesnt benefit any of the participants and I think annoys the viewers more.
As for the participants themselves..LOL. I liked Ji Yeon a lot, she was ignored in the beginning for various reasons but when He Doo came in they hit it off great until Na Yeon who was hitting it off with Gyu Min all the sudden with He Doo ditched their love interests to get back together to just fight the whole season over the dumbest things. They wont last. Gyu Min I also didnt like. Poor Hae Eun. Her first relationship was Gyu Min and it lasted 7 years and he broke it off and she clearly never recovered from it and she was a bit annoying throughout the entire season by still holding out hope (I understand her feelings still) until Hyun Gyu came and showed great interest. When Hae Eun stated to become happy again and get over Gyu Min what does he go and do? Get jealous and give Hae Eun false hope that he actually still wants her after being so cold to her until that point.. I am so glad she and Hyun Gyu got together and are doing fine. Tae I and Na Eon were great together, they are both weird and quirky and match well. Disappointed that Na Eon thought it a good idea to pursue Gyu Min with a few days left and risk ending up alone but it was funny that it completely backfired in her face but at least she and Tae I made it together and are doing well. I felt Ji Soo got the short end of the stick, same with Won Bin. No one really showed interest in them and Won Bin was stuck in the past. Oh well.
Wish the show mentioned what rule Cho Yi Hyun broke to get booted off and why her Ex decided to leave after. Guess he was there to get back with her and since she got kicked he didnt care to stay.
TL;DR
I am glad about the ending couple Na Eun and Tae I - Hae Eun and Hyun Gyu. Liked Ji Yeon but Hee Doo is an idiot and so is Na Yeon. Didnt like Gyu Min at all. Felt bad for Won Bin and Ji Soo. I hate that all these shows bring in people last minute, it screws over the participants.
Wish I knew if the couples are still together. Also Jihyun and Nayeon are little players but at least Nayeon had the decency to pick one and stick with it. Poor Juyeon, she was my favorite. Yuna too but she got someone in the end even if it seemed like she was a pity/backup choice.
So Pomme and Goo Joon is dead in the water? On episode 3, dont like how my love triangle senses in tingling between Ma Eum Ji Hyung and Goo Joon after the put so many scenes with Pomme in the first few episodes.
The episodes keep getting better and better, I hope it keeps up. Ive seen top tier dramas tank at the end for inexplicable reasons and its so frustrating.
