El cast hizo la serie

La historia partió con una idea buena y toca algunos puntos bien interesantes a medida que se desarrolla: estándares de belleza, inseguridades, falsas amistades, la honestidad de decir lo que se siente. Pero en general, creo que no siempre estuvo bien tratado. Los grupos de shipeadores no recibieron ningún tipo de consecuencia por todo lo horrible que hacían, arruinaron el personaje de Bam en el penúltimo capítulo innecesariamente, nunca se problematizó el hecho de que Mork hubiera sido este amigo anónimo y que no le dijera a Pi. Bien por Meen manteniéndose firme para no tomar alcohol y enojpandose, bien por el amigo gordo que era muy popular y que nunca se tomó como broma, bien por Mork tratando de entender las inseguridades de Pi, bien por la relación entre los hermanos. Pero realmente, el casting es lo que salva esta serie, Puwhin y Pond tienen una química increíble a pesar de no actuar tan bien en esta época; y los actores secundarios cumplen sus roles muy bien, sobre todo Meen y Duean que cumplieron con ser la pareja secundaria tierna y más ligera.

What I like/not like list

I erased major spoilers.
I rated 4.0 the story because is nothing new, but I honestly think it's well executed and has a couple of fresh elements!

I liked:
- The gap between the first impressions we got of Lom and how actually he is and how smitten and nervous he is.
- Nuea's efficency and overall his good work.
- REALLY loved that is the saphic couple and Yiwa the ones that have the "main character vibe"!! Everything happening because of her plans, not the gays?? amazing.
- Really loved how loyal Lom is to Yiwa. Yes, he's in love and he thinks Nuea is the love of his life, but Yiwas is like a sister to him so of course he's gonna hesitate and take his time to tell Nuea the truth.
- The side characters are fine and I really liked Im's protective rant.
- That the main couple almost don't have a height difference.
- Surprised with the graphic but not explicit sex scenes, they felt very real and in line with the general line of the story.

Not fond of:
- It's so short that I'd like to have more developing in every aspect of the story (they did good with the time they had tho).
- That they met as kids, ugh, so tired of that trope.

One of my favorites - What I like/not like list

I liked:
- The story. Be gay, do crime, fight capitalism. Yes.
- The acting, especially Gun's acting. He did an amazing job!!
- The script. It shows an understanding of the topics, which I always very much appreciate, but in this particular case I think it was decisive to make it a good story and not a cringy one.
- Honestly, loved the series.
- Black and White characters, and how Black was with everyone else vs his brother.

Not fond of:
- Them showing their tattoos and wearing flashy clothes and masks while doing their activism. It doesn't make sense in reality.
- The abrupts changes and stops of music, not fond of music production here in general.
- Yok and Dan getting back together. Still I think it was adequate because of the message of the story, but ugh, cops and betrayal, not a combination I can forgive easily.
- Gram and Gene getting together at the end. I love Gram, but girl, you can do better than keep dating the same group of friends.
- As always, I'd liked more development, more episodes. But it's ok.
