It's not really Shounen-ai, but I get what you're saying. :) It's not a bromance either, but simply an extremely strong friendship. Their interactions is what made this such a great drama.

The special effects weren't unbearable as some people are making it sound. They weren't the best, but totally tolerable. Got a lot of back story with episode 1 and the set up for the characters and mystery in the future episodes. Decent first episode, I'm curious to see where it goes.
Also, I find it interesting that not only is mental illness stigmatized to some degree in Asian dramas, so is physical disabilities, such as deafness, blindness, etc. If anybody knows of a really good drama that contains physical disability, please let me know! I like to have a fat plan to watch list :)
