I felt like hye jin and dushik were side characters . They had conflicts then that needs to be explored more . They had only 1-2 scenes ! Sorry to say this but I had zero interest in village chiefs divorce , first love , his realisation , his part of romance and their flashbacks . They can have but one or two times but not for all 14 episodes .

One thing which annoys me a bit is , I rewatched ep 14 and I found the entire middle part for 20-30 mins dushik and hye jin were not in any of the scenes . Even when they Are shown it’s with a group of people and the focus was less ! Hye jin handled it well but I wish they had more scenes regarding it or something More added to it ! Does anyone else feel the side characters have way too much space in the story than the leads !I like them but they should not occupy so much screen time ! I am more interested in seeing hye jin and du shik !

I could see du shik was trying to attempt suicide ! If if if the writer had better placement ! We could have seen his sufferings and how things took toll on his mental health more ! I like light weight dramas but I love how seon ho acts in this ! Guilt is one of the most difficult part to overcome in life ! That could have been explored well given the actor is someone like seon ho !

So true ! It was light and I enjoyed and I like all characters but I was expecting a light flashback to dushik as they pushed it for so long . But sincerely his guilt seems heavy and adds so much depth to the story and his character . I wish the writer explored his trauma before . They should have placed it way before if it is going to be heavy . I mean to say the audience would have had so much time to get things well and empathise with it . All of sudden they need to accept in ep 15 and wind up the story by ep 16 ?! Really ! I feel they wasted a good potential . If they saved a episodes time to show his Seoul life it would have been fantastic .

Same thoughts ! They could have had impactful storyline than gongjin people by cutting down few scenes .

Yeah ! Others had their stories here and there but he was shown in every episode with so much of screen time ! I would have loved watching the two cuties or juri instead !

I wish they had the flashback for good 20 -30 mins . I liked ep 13,14 for addressing many issues . But I liked his brother n his wife though they were shown for few mins . His brother seemed to be a nice person . Would love to see his sTory a bit more .

Yeah ! I like all characters but I felt that chief had so much screen time often ! I like grannies , the two cuties , singer n his daughter juri , Ji pD and writer , June , cop and hye jins frnd , boras parents also nam suk and ijuns mother they all did have right amount of screen time and they played their roles well I felt the filler part is with village chief . I agree it’s doing so well in India . I mean to say if they had added this tearjerking story in ep 14 instead of ep 15 Atleast audience would have got more time to enjoy the bitterness and seon hos amazing acting . It’s so good but I am scared if they will rush at the end .

Yeah ! But the audience would have enjoyed if they showed dushik’s back story well . I feel they should have cut down village chiefs story . He was occupying so much screen time in each episode whereas other characters had right amount of time . I sometimes got bored when he was shown . His story is not much inspiring as well so they should have cut and placed more dushik backstory with his brother and his work life . They have just pushed it so far till ep 15 . I have already seen so much back stories for the side characters than the main characters . I feel Screen time is less for hye jin and dushik backstories .

I liked ep 14 . But I feel they should have placed This in ep 11,12 instead of 13,14 . This could have added so much potential to the story . Also the ratings would have increased . In order to make it light they placed at ep 14 with just a glimpse of it . They will make use of ep 15 to reveal it completely and ep 16 to wrap up . I feel instead of having fillers in middle episodes and showing too much of back story of side characters , they could have cut few parts of the side characters and placed dushik scenes and could have given importance to his back story in prior episodes by revealing it step by step in last few episodes instead of dumping everything in a single episode and that too in ep 15 !

I guess Nam suk won the lottery and she donated it for children welfare !

I feel his trauma is related to something happened at his work place . He might be buying a suit to join new office after college . Something happened and he blames himself for it and couldnot continue with work so he moved to his hometown and does all odd jobs . Also the guy in ep 12 told that he “works” at a new office now . I feel the writer would explain why dushik does different jobs instead of a single proper job to add meaning to his character . As that would justify and make audience understand him better . We understand hye jin, her backstory and why she is obsessed with brands and her entire character . Something related to work would add more depth to his trauma and his way of leading a life .
